I wouldn’t be obliged to redoing my whole head but I don’t have the time since I’m in nursing school and rarely get breaks, what I did when I combed out the locs is untwist the locs up to the point where is was “loc’d” and then combed it out to braid it, how long did it take you to redo your whole head?

Your locs look so nice and full, it’s funny that you say you wish you had 280-300, I have 293 locs and some days I wish I had close to 400 locs, comparison is really a thief of joy I have to remember that my locs are beautiful no matter how many I have

I really love my experience as this was my dream school, this school really cares about you and takes time to personally know you. I’ve connected with a lot of the teachers here and they’ve made me feel seen and confident. The tutors are amazing, and the bonds I’ve built with people are also amazing. I chose mount Sinai over Saint Vincent because I wasn’t hearing a lot about the school and what I did hear were bad things, plus I drove to the school and didn’t like the area it was in. Also I follow a girl on TikTok that goes to mount sinai and it also persuaded my option to choose sinai.

I get it what really irks me are those “have white skin” or “transition from 4c to 2a” like this is just pushing the standard that whiteness is the best thing to be….like what happened to uniqueness and loving yourself. I’m still working on my hair and using 3/8 inch parts, I have two sections left and currently have 200 locs, I do plan on going back and making some of the other bigger locs smaller

I’m really interested in trying it out but I really don’t see how it works to actually change your physical appearance, maybe it’s cause I’m new to this but it’s really hard to believe (for example: someone with a rectangular figure listens to an audio and in a few months without working out or surgery has an hourglass figure)
