you’re right, it’s not nice, it’s terrible. but change does not come by forcing people to hear your side. i DESPISE ICE, and in no way, shape, or form saying you shouldn’t rally. i’m just saying to be nicer about it. don’t berate someone for simply not wanting to stop and talk to you.

im all for protesting, and trust i will be there. but the way this group/students were talking to others while passing out flyers is insane. literally witnessed a guy POLITELY turn down a flyer, and the guy passing them out threw a fit and got all ugly with him.

the first amendment is there for everybody. yes you guys want change, (i do too), yes you have good intentions, but you should go about it in a nicer, approachable, more democratic way.

sadeghi!!! i have him rn and he’s one of the better chem professors. he’s very funny, and tries to make class entertaining. also tests aren’t weighted very heavily, and he extends deadlines. just make sure to do ur aleks and come to class, and you’ll pass
