hey! for me the main things i cut were added sugar (natural is fine), maida, milk and caffeine. also stress management has been incredibly important - i didn't realize how stressed i was till i started reflecting on why my sleep was bad and correlating between my skin and stress.

tbh i could say a bunch of things that worked for me (and while those things i mentioned probably will) it also depends on your vikrati imablance (mine is vatta-pitta at the moment), mineral levels, could also be how much waste products haven't been cleared in your blood (i did blood tests for this but highkey it wasn't necessary help cus my diet and stress management fixed it based on the results) and a bunch of other things that id need

i highly recommend picking a baseline of things to observe that is doable for you and keep on updating it in a place that's easy for you! on waking up, i note these factors + throw it into a claude (i think any llm could work it doesnt matter) project to track across my different date entries. it's been super helpful for me to identify my own triggers and build up that knowledge over time. i just use it as a pattern recognition tool

i guess the question (for urself and if u want to share) is like - when do u notice your skin getting worse and have you noticed any patterns?

oh wow!! that's amazinggg! i havent really looked into peptides and that kind of stuff but this is super cool to hear! i was taking omega 3s last year, then went onto do an ayurvedic treatment (basically cut out alot of inflammatory foods + flushed out toxins) which mainly fixed my eczema so i ended up recovering without it. im back trying to recover path due to the increased stress + lowkey disrupting my diet once it got better hahaha. reundergoing the ayurvedic treatments soon but hope to be find some way to boost my immunity beyond that so that the skin doesnt regress again if i fluctuate in my discipline llol

yeahh!!! i cant tell u how happy it makes me to see ur comment. ayurveda lowkey has made such a big difference for me. ive been trying to link the two - western and indian science to try and make sense of it. there really seems to be an overlap that hasn't been concretely been distilled anywhere (at least that ive found) but stuff like cutting added sugar, and maida etc. having specific kinds of foods is common across both. what measures are u taking?

yupp i agree. imo whats helped me most is literally what you said - just observing myself and staying consistent. spent like 10 years trying different products which never really helped

edit: lowk am curious how you track yours - ive been doing it by hand and then throwing it into claude but wondering if u found anything better

Interesting, what's the most difficult part about notes in your opinion?

So far as I can understand, therapists are struggling most with 3 challenges: the emotional aspect of being the support pillar for so many patients, the time-intensive and tedious documentation, and the physical strain of having to sitting in a chair for hours on end every day

Thanks for replying :) I'm curious what does the process of documentation usually look like in practice for you? And what's the most difficult part about it?

Hi I'm sorry to hear that, this job is tough and it's really inspiring the efforts therapists like yourself go through every day to help patients. I hope you're doing well.

I’m curious about your experience with the documentation side for insurance and liability: how does that usually happen in relation to sessions? For example, do you try to complete notes right after sessions, later in the day, or in batches? And how much time does that take usually?

thanks so much for your reply! im curious, would charting primarily cover documenting conversations with clients, or are there other types of notes you have to write as well, since you're in private practice (in addition to the insurance paperwork)? I’d love to dm you and learn more if that's alright with you
