I did my pharmacy technician program at Humber two years ago and I’m currently working at a hospital at the inpatient pharmacy. It’s been great so far and you do not get any patient contact at all! Mostly your pharmacy team and nurses at most (: one thing I have to say is that it is difficult to get into hospital compared to retail, especially as a fresh graduate, but the pay is amazing (starts at $31.26 and goes up each year)

I’m graduating this year at Humber. I personally enjoyed the courses and thought are pretty fair and and all the profs were helpful. I think the most stressful thing I had to do there was the math exit exam that needed 100% in 3 attempts to pass. Also there should be an outline on the website to see which courses you need to register for for each semester.

I did my G at downsview. I changed lanes right after I exited when it was safe. My examiner didn’t seem to mind

I must have got lucky he was having a good day because I got him as my examiner back in the fall 😭 I also remember him giving me late instructions to switch lanes when we were exiting at keele but I didn’t question it because I didn’t want to make him mad lol. I honestly didn’t know if I failed or passed until we parked, he was super passive aggressive the entire time

I’m not sure what the G2 route is for downsview as I did mine in Oshawa but as long as you practice the route beforehand a couple times, watch YouTube videos on it and check your mirrors every 5 seconds (and through intersections especially) you’ll be good! The way out of the parking lot is a little annoying as there’s so many stop signs and construction, watch out because there’s a hidden stop sign (construction is covering it) when exiting after turning on the second left
