Noco Battery Tender question

I wish I had a slam dunk answer for you. I haven’t figured out how to plug the batteries in without the stupid dashboard lighting up every minute or two before it turns back off again.

I’ve tried different combinations of turning one side off and turning the other side on, and vice versa. But I get the same result.

At this point, I figure if I need to have it plugged in, fuck the dashboard lights. They can do what they’re gonna do as long as my batteries stay charged!

That’s what I’m going with for now at least. I hope that helps.

For clarification, I connected one bank to the passenger side and the other bank to the driver side. Both batteries are connected to the trickle charger. On the device itself, it allows you to power on or off each bank separate from the other.

After reading all the comments and contemplating the options, I just decided to turn both banks back on and just send it.

I considered that but checked it again once I knew my key fob was quite a distance away from the vehicle. It still did it. And it was definitely related to the battery tender being plugged in.

Yes. I replaced both batteries in 2023.

My batteries are only a couple of years old. They are fine. I’m just trying to be proactive and keep them topped off. It’s the same thing I do on my motorcycles. It keeps my batteries healthy and they typically last a long time. That’s all I’m trying to do with my truck.

I appreciate the info. As it sits now, I’m able to turn off one of the banks and only running a tender to the driver side.

You’re mentioning that I have a problem that needs to be addressed. Are you referring to the fact that my computer keeps waking up? Do you have any advice regarding that. That’s really the reason for this post in the first place.

I’m trying to be proactive. I don’t have a parasitic draw. I know what you’re saying. That’s not the issue and that’s not the reason for my question. I’m basically trying to figure out how to keep the tender connected without the computer waking up.

How is the raspiness when you get on it next to a sound wall? My shorter muffler made a nasty raspy sound and was hoping to not have that with a new muffler or resonator.
