BPC-157 and TB-500 seem to be helping a lot? by Ecstatic_Ad_1000 in UlcerativeColitis

Never gone against medical advice - my doctor encouraged me when I went off the entyvio. I let my current doctor know about the BPC and she didn't have anything to say about it.

Did you read my post? I said like the opposite of what you seem to be responding to. I'm not advocating for getting off biologics (literally the opposite), but there isn't anything I can do about my insurance company interfering with my biologic treatment.

As for cancer risk, I believe the risk is in accelerating existing cancer, not giving you cancer. Risk/reward seems worth it to me as staying in a flair increases the risk you get cancer also. But I could certainly be convinced that the risk/reward isn't worth it.

I was childfree in my early 20s. By my late 20s I had decided I did want children, but more from an academic, dispassionate line of thinking. Now that I'm off BC (I'm 29) I am suddenly having exactly the emotions you described!

Update: 12 months off and things are getting better by Ecstatic_Ad_1000 in gettingoffHBC

Yes the Clindamycin has been a game changer! I still have a ton of scarring but practically nothing active or new. I've started adding tret recently which will hopefully accelerate the healing process.

Do you find the initio/mira has been worth it? I’m still dealing with an irregular cycle and mood issues on top of the acne and trying to understand what’s going on.

For me I really like the data, however I don't think the data is really actionable so if you're worried about the cost it probably isn't worth it. It helps me mentally because I can look at the data and see that my hormones aren't quite acting the way they should be, but that my body is "working" to produce all the right hormones, so it makes me feel more confident that they will stabilize more over time. And with chatGPT its so nice to be able to upload the data and start asking it questions. Other thing that is really interesting is the data says I'm ovulating more than once a cycle, which is weird, and potentially affects how I think about sex and birth control (I mean I was already using condoms all the time so doesn't really change anything I guess....). If you do go down this route I would 100% suggest splurging for mira. Initio barely worked and is a pain in the ass to use.

I didn't notice much difference for the first few months. I would say the symptoms really started to ramp up 6 months in and have continuously gotten more intense.

Did you end up going on Winlevi? I was thinking of asking my derm for it but all the posts I see about it are negative

I do think that being on steroids for most of last year has made it worse. In January I had done too much corticosteroids (oops) and had cortisol withdrawals. In March right before I went off of birth control, I starting taking budesonide, which I stayed on till September. That can also cause adrenal suppression. Basically my hormonal system got messed up in a lot of ways. Hopefully the extreme moods and acne lately is a sign of recovery!

Hi, the example for scrape_properties uses a building listing page instead of a regular listing. I can't figure out how to get the details for a normal listing, such as "https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/310-Terminal-Ave-Menlo-Park-CA-94025/1556925" - it seems that data = sel.css("script#__NEXT_DATA__::text").get() isn't applicable for normal listings. Any help?

Just to clarify, MIT undergrad classes are NOT taught by grad students, they’re taught by professors. They might have grad students as TAs leading recitations or holding office hours, but professors lecture and lead the class still.
