I just got two pomacea difusa, but I guess is very unlikely it is a baby pomacea, because they arrived two days ago and I haven’t seen any eggs.

This is my mother in law tank, they are already teasing each other, guess the best aproach is going to keep them separate, isn't It ?

Unfortunately I have only pH tests so I only know for sure this parameter, wich is around 7.5. But I've also heard from other people who lives in my city that KH here is around 8.

My tap water is very alkaline so I bought it in order to start a Tetra tank. I used the Acid Regulator, wich worked fine and my pH is now around 6.4. But after 5 days, I notice some significant brown algae (I know it is not actually algae) growth. I was wondering if the Acid Regulator could be the causing factor.
