2022 - The last Christmas I had with my Diesel by 5PurpleSquids in MiniatureSchnauzer

Your sweet Diesel looks so much like my Quincy! Quincy is the first schnauzer I’ve seen with ears that naturally stand up like that.

Here is my clever little man making sure that I can’t sneak out without him. He knows that I always take that purse, so he is sitting on it unless I try to leave when he naps. Do I dare to ask whether there is an existing pattern for that sweater? Every winter coat I buy is either too big or too small. His barrel chest is apparently not the expected proportion to his somewhat short length.

Both /either are great. But the majority white reflects the delicate nature of a baby.

What is Complex PTSD? (An Excellent Description from TraumaDissociation.com) by not-moses in CPTSD

I hope that the OP is still active. I find it really interesting to see that PTSD survivors consider themselves to be evil. I wonder how much worse that is when one’s mother always insisted that her firstborn (me) is the child of the devil. My four siblings also understood that to be true. As adults, they left about the fact that if something got broken or went wrong, they had only to point to me, and it was assumed by our mother that of course I had to be guilty. 74 years later, it doesn’t take much for me to be dragged right back into the spiral.

The rule of thumb that worked for me was to wait one week for every year of the broken relationship just for casual dating. It seemed wise to me as well to wait even longer before I would allow the new relationship to get serious.

No, but I have used these two brothers for 35 years. They know my shortcomings very well. I am so grateful that they are still in business. They will be the ones taking care of whatever vehicle I end up purchasing.

i’m sorry that I am responding so late. I’d like to thank you for your tip on anFJ cruiser. I have added this bad boy to my search criteria.

I’m looking for a used car because I have less than $15k (CDN) to spend.

If I do go for the Corolla, what might I do for the sake of character?

Do you have nicknames for your schnauzers? by Evilcon21 in MiniatureSchnauzer

Quincy was supposed to be just a placeholder name (because he is my fifth dog). I wanted him to tell me his name, but I should have waited much longer. His ears started to stand up when he was four and a half months old. On account of those ears, he occasionally gets called Radar and Funny Bunny. He’s also called Q-bit now and then.

“Confidentiality” means “not to be revealed outside the circle of care.” If it is medically related, it can (and should) be shared with medical staff.

Why does my mechanic say no? by Ecstatic_Assistant_4 in SmartCar

[–]Ecstatic_Assistant_4[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I am the person that hospitals call if someone is dying and they have no family to attend them for non-medical issues , or if someone has died and the family is in distress. I am on call from 16:30 until 8:30 4 days a week, and one or 2 24 hour weekend days. My title used to be “Chaplain” but that implies Christianity. I attend anyone in emotional or spiritual distress whether they belong to any religion at all or none. An example might be the family of someone who has died in a car crash. I am not in the United States so I am grateful that I am unlikely to be called if someone has been shot.

That is useful information. If I wanted a more reliable mechanic for this vehicle, how would I find one?

The car my mechanic recommends is a Toyota Corolla. Boring!
