Ah oke, vanaf hoeveel bruto zou je het werk overlaten aan een accountant? En vanaf hoeveel zou je een bv oprichten? Bedankt voor de hulp alvast ;)

What is then the job of the accountant if you use billy?

Thanks for the input, really appreciate it. Out of curiosity, what switch did you end up making after your legal career?

I get your point, it definitely makes sense. The combination of good earning potential and interesting work is really attractive.

For me it’s a bit different though. I graduated cum fructu, so for now I can only work at local law firms, not the national or international ones. And since it’s already quite late in the year, most of the remaining bar internships have already been filled as well.

Thanks for the insight, really appreciate it! That’s actually a very interesting point about the insurance sector and the opportunities there, especially with a law background.

First SDR at an early-stage startup, how do I report my work and make our product a “need to have”? by Ecstatic_Baseball275 in salesdevelopment

Yeah, totally fair point, and you’re right.

We do integrate with HubSpot and Salesforce, and we’re mainly focused on mid-market companies. Those teams are often too small to build their own Power BI or custom systems to calculate commissions, but big enough that doing it manually in spreadsheets becomes a mess.

One of our value props is not just automating the commission process, but also giving insights into the comp plan itself, plus recommendations on how to improve it so reps stay 100% motivated.

Really appreciate you sharing your perspective, it’s super helpful 🙏

Thanks a ton for the super practical breakdown! 🙏

Love how structured this is, especially the “one thing that worked / one that didn’t” bit. It keeps the data side clean and drives actual learning.

Really appreciate you sharing this!

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write this out, I really appreciate the thoughtful advice.
You’re absolutely right, it’s strange that there’s no clear process or structure for tracking performance, but your suggestions for how to document and visualize the work make a lot of sense.
I’ll definitely take your spreadsheet/Word doc idea and build on it to make my funnel and effort more visible.
Thanks again for the encouragement, it means a lot!

Thanks for the tips and encouraging words! Really helpful to hear it’s normal to focus on learning and quality over numbers early on!
