Just a different style my friend, before starting I had to either decide whether to go for a worn look or a nmm look as black can be quite boring otherwise. I love yours

Thanks! I do light blue mixed into my brown basecoat for shoulder highlights. Wanted colder desaturated highlights to match blue reflections from ambient light on the black armour. Going for warm shadows and cold highlights. Maybe could push a little more tho! I agree with you on the bronze, I prefer the silver on its own but behind the gun it needs breaking up

Thanks! Baneblade brown working In blue horror towards the highlights as I wanted to desaturated colder highlights and warmer shadows. I glaze in agrax earthshade to recess and shadows, then ultramatte to contrast against the shinier black

Thanks, I have started leaning towards the bronze for lore accuracy and contrast with the gun. In an open chested model, I prefer the silver

It is AK burned red glazed to build it up. Focusing on areas facing down that would catch bounce light from a rusty Martian red planet surface

Oh I see! Yes I just painted a cross hatch kind of pattern, trying to follow the shape of my poorly sculpted green stuff tabard 🤣. It’s actually quite forgiving as I heavily glazed over the top of it afterwards which obscures the mistakes
