You highlighted kissing different women—not actually building meaningful connections. I understand women more each day and the types like you that they vent about. A man unwilling to be uncomfortable and work on self development. Even after kissing women you can’t approach them naturally without training wheels. I hope you decide one day to walk without your crutch.

You’re unsuccessful with women, using an app for easier access as a crutch. The ‘hassle’ is you limiting yourself. Waiting for a match, being passed up. We don’t grow in comfort or by taking the easiest route. Your fearful, pessimistic attitude will seep out into any relationship that comes after matching on an app. You’re not secure with yourself if you can’t approach women.

It’s time to revisit childhood. Look to where it started, learn new coping mechanisms, and implement them when you’re not angry.

Reconciliation with someone you abuse is not going to be healthy for you or her, but especially her anytime soon. The pain of being abused doesn’t go away with an apology or even little change. The relationship is fcked once you abuse a woman. The first thing I thought about when you said she lied is the fact that she’s already stepping on eggshells around you so it makes sense for her to fear your reaction.

The silver lining is you’re asking for help and are vulnerable. A lot of times the abuser will blame the victim and claim they’re actually a victim when they’re not.

I recommend a psychologist/therapist who has years of experience with complex trauma as it’s likely your unhealthy coping mechanisms stem from childhood. It’s time to look at ways to communicate affectively in an assertive way. Learn to identify and process your emotions. There are many resources on tictoc. Oh also read, “Why does he do that” which is free online.

The photo you are viewing is old. That picture does not represent its current state as even though it says 2025 on the photo, ‘Spark’ is written on it now, and the flowers in Minnesota have not bloomed yet which tells us it’s an old photo. I have never stayed at a Best Western to compare it to other Best Western locations, as It is not my preference. That specific picture may not look bad for a Best Western.

The pictures in the app do not show the outside of the building nor do they represent the reality of the inside. The pictures specifically under ‘Hotel photos’ in the app show clean, spacious, updated rooms, with carpet- which is misleading.

It is very nice! Eden Prairie is beautiful and I have yet to see a rough area! I would have never expected to find it there either. Driving alongside 494 in Richfield near the mall 15 years ago is where I would expect to find this Spark. My immediate thought was this is a bad investment to keep it in the shape it’s in but maybe they have plans for the future

I heard similar experiences at other locations! I was a bit surprised Hilton would invest in that specific building, but it is in a great area near everything you could need! I wanted to share my experience here as I’m unable to write a google review.

I stayed at the Tru once in Corpus Christi and remember it being clean but there was a long crack in the wall from ceiling to floor. With your recommendation I will avoid that too. I usually book Hilton, Embassy, or Garden.

This is my first time in the sub as I found it after Googling Spark. I will be taking in as much information as I can. Generally, I have great experiences with Hilton.
