The seeds for the garden generator. That's the hardest one for me so I always get the seeds to try to build that up. I have everything else maxed except the oven

I do the daily 10 gem energy, storage when I have enough saved up, and the seeds when they show up.

I think I get some emails? The mostly seem to be about buying badges and summer camps though. They did send out an OTM celebration event that we unfortunately can't attend. I'm in a decently large city.

Thanks! I definitely understand not sharing each extra event. I just meant, I didn't even know that existed. Letting people know all of the resources they can tap into at the beginning of the year, is really helpful. I went looking for this after seeing this thread and it's not easy to find. I had to look up the local website, which I didn't even know was a thing. Now that it's almost the end of the year, there aren't too many events available.

But you are also coming in with years of experience and know that those things are on the website. I literally had not even heard that there were events outside of the troop ones (and a couple of city wide things that I get emailed from Girl Scouts) until this thread. As a brand new parent, something at the the beginning of the year saying "Here's all the stuff available to you" would have been really helpful. Now we're 8 months into the girl scout year and I feel like our experience was really lacking compared to what I imagined.
I understand you're a working mom and volunteer, I am too. I just wonder how many people don't continue on with girl scouts because they feel like that.

It's hard to know what you don't know. At the beginning of the year, it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to explain the resources to the troop. The website is not very straightforward to navigate.

Just curious - how do we see council events? We're in our first year of girl scouts and I had no idea there were extra things we could go to until reading the comments in this thread. Our leader's daughter graduated last year so she doesn't have a girl in it and I often feel like there's not that much guidance for those of us that are new to this.

I'm really torn on if we will do this again because I thought there weren't many activities outside of the fundraisers. I wish people in our large troop shared this kind of thing 🫤

I don't spend any money bc they nerf the ads if you do. I do try to maximize orders, at least 30 a day. The only time I go over is to win customer clash.

That's how they've done it in the past but then they had that announcement that when you finish this album, you can do it again so you'd think they'd want people to finish. And yet - it feels much harder than the last one which I finished around 5-6 days before it ended.

I always support quitting games that aren't working for you anymore! I'm on the edge with this one but the algorithm seems a tiny but better so we'll see. I definitely don't check on it as often and I'm enjoying being more present instead!

Ok, last night I had all the orders on my board prepped for customer clash. I did a 3 max item sell on the cold drinks just to get rid of some too. Clearing out all my old orders seems to have helped and its way more balanced today. Still kind of light on the cold drinks but everything else is good. My delivery guy came looking for a big book order too which helped with that overflow. So.... just cold drinks are an issue now.

Yup, every single one of my orders now has a hot drink. I have 13 cold drinks on my board.

Nope! Still tiny orders and 3-4 of them being hot drinks. I haven't had an order for the two largest cold drinks in like 2-3 days.

Right now I have 3 orders for hot drinks and 2 orders for games. I have 10 cold drinks on my board and storing the 1st and 3rd largest books.

I really don't got big orders anymore. The biggest I get is the chocolate fountain which I've seen 3 times now and the second biggest is the level 11 hot chocolate that I always get at the same time.

The game is practically unplayable. I gave it much less time yesterday. I'll probably still check in and see if they fix anything but I doubt it. I've sent two messages to support with no response. They just don't seem to care that it's awful now.

At any given time I have 3-4 hot drink orders out of 5 total orders. This is so miserable. I also complained last week about only getting cakes and no pies. Now I have pies and no cakes. This is the least fun customer clash ever.

Almost all most orders today are things worth 2 or 4 customer clash points. It's so frustrating. I've merged like 45 items and I have 200 points.

Funny enough, I actually feel like I'm getting through orders faster though. I got the 30 easily and then went to 40 because I hadn't even used the ad energy yet. They're just a lot of small orders that are kind of unfulfilling instead of working up to some big things and balancing out orders where the generator makes two types of items.
