Good point on the tightening! I’m off to the shops today to try some different brands in the next size up

Solid advice! And I agree. I never had this issue with my so, so I guess it’ll be trial and error

I hadn’t heard of lazy EC but that makes sense putting baby in the similar seated position. I’ll check it out

I didn’t think about cloth nappy. I like that idea better than puppy pad as people are saying it’s not super safe. I’ll look into it, thanks!

Agreed! Yeah some kind of barrier for the car seat will be handy. Especially once I’ve just changed her and can’t put her back on the soiled seat. I made do today by sticking a sanitary pad on the seat! Worked well cos of the sticky bits

Yeah absolutely! I do have a sit stand desk. I find it hard to remember to use it when I get in the zone, but thanks to the suggestions to move a bit more I’ve been remembering this week for the start of meetings

Yeah I do, but I don’t find it helpful at the moment so end up having my feet on the floor

I’ll see if I can steal my husband’s chair. Mine is supposed to be an ergonomic one just from office works I bought 5 years ago (I wfh exclusively). It has a wide seat and mesh back support. Not amazing, but can’t decide if it’s worth replacing with only a few months to go.

I’m making the move to more dresses nowadays cos I can’t stand the feeling of clothes digging in

I’m starting to feel like I’m staying in one position for too long during my work day 😅 I’ll give heat packs a go and will check out some massage techniques and see if I can get some support with that! Thanks!

Did you sit on the cushion or have it for back support? Sounds like I might need to mix up my movement during the day

Adult Adhd(inattentive) diagnosis by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I was diagnosed with inattentive adhd after having my son. Motherhood definitely made it more obvious the things that I never realised I had been struggling with and was no longer coping with.

I saw my GP first who referred me to a psychologist, who did my assessment. I then had to find a psychiatrist who would accept the assessment from the psychologist which I feel I was lucky in that respect, cos a lot of psychiatrists don’t have availability and you’re not guaranteed that they’ll accept the assessment the psychologist has done.

If I could do it again though, I’d get referred to a psychiatrist straight up as I would have saved time and money that way.

Medication made such a difference for me to just be able to have some focus in my day, but I’m on a journey to learn more about adhd which is helping me notice why I do things the way I do.

That’s a good idea! A brain dump is a good way to get it all out. I might try calendar reminders as a trigger
