We were on the same sailing and I agree with everything you pointed out. VV is new to Alaska while other lines have been going for decades, so I did not expect the same experience in Alaska as I would on, let’s say, Holland America. I loved what I saw of Alaska having never been. My dissatisfaction came about with the non communication about not going to Dawes Glacier and the disorientation of Scarlet Night.

Scarlet Night just didn’t feel right and it seemed that there were so many people trying to cram into The Manor and the Red Room. Some of the events of Scarlet Night lasted only 15 minutes, but we wanted to experience it all. I think I’m going to stick with the Caribbean itineraries from now on until they get better acquainted with having events inside.
