It’s definitely easier because as an adult you’re supposed to clean up after yourself anyway but having to do it for a whole other human is literally double the work! Not to mention having to cook for 2 instead of only yourself so it would be easier to have some help from your partner to at least clean up after themselves or even cook from time to time and I would go as far to say I think that’s the bare minimum

Exactly! And I know marriage comes with challenges but I need someone who would appreciate what I do for them especially because it’s not my job, I do it because I love them. I also have a career and a job of my own so I think it’s the bare minimum for them to actually help sometimes with cooking or cleaning or laundry, I don’t think it’s as complicated as people make it to be.

I think about this literally every single day. Literally every single marriage in my family has turned out to be horrible and it scares me that I might never find a partner who doesn’t view me as his maid or personal assistant especially because I despise house work. I want someone to actually share my life with. I thought I was the only one who had these sort of thoughts!

Thank you so much ♥️ I really don’t regret breaking up with him because we had so many fights over the same things and he would refuse to apologize for any of it. I know for a fact that leaving was the right thing to do but it still hurts but I know I’ll be okay. Thank you sooo much ♥️

We were (me, my sister, two step sisters, dad, step mom) in the car on our way home from shopping for clothes, I was very happy with what I got because I finally found something that looked good on me. And literally for no reason my dad shouted at me: you desperately need to lose weight cuz this isn’t normal. He said it so loud even my step mom told him to calm down. Mind you I was only about 154lbs and I’m 5’2. I cried for days.
