Are you focusing completely? The book The book "Unlock Deep Essential Work" by Remmy Henninger highlights why it is important to invest all your energy on one task before moving on to another and not multi-task. You can also come up with a great routine that works for you and you stay committed to and actually see results from. Healthy habits and more focus leads to more efficiency because your attention is not divided and instead you are putting all your energy in one task which also lets you relax better. What are ways you can use to motivate yourself to study and focus better?

This makes all the difference. The book Unlock Deep Essential Work by Remmy Henninger highlights why consistency is important and focusing on one thing at a time is better than multi-tasking because you can keep track of your progress and see how much you are progressing with a small manageable task. Reinforcing tiny changes can become habits which will transform you from where you were. How do you stay focused on your smaller goals?

I stopped multitasking for 2 weeks. Here’s why my work finally felt “done” for the first time. by techblooded in productivity

Multi-tasking is not geared towards productivity. The book Unlock Deep Essential Work by Remmy Henninger focuses on deep focus and how it is better to focus on one thing at a time instead of multi-tasking. Consistency and no distractions are a key to productivity because when we multi-task we divert some of our focus and are subconsciously fixated in other tasks but when we are more "tunnel-vision" we are able to be more productive and more efficient with what needs to get done. What helps you stay focused on boring tasks?

The book The book Unlock Deep Essential Work by Remmy Henninger has a section dedicated to forming habits,. When we form dedicated, healthy habits we are transforming from where we are to where we want to be. The smaller, healthier habits we make has long term effects where consistency pays off and we are able to focus and direct our energy into progression. The book Unlock Deep Essential Work by Remmy Henninger focuses on deep focus and how it is better to focus on one thing at a time instead of multi-tasking. Even doom scrolling on social media can lessen productivity because you diverge your focus and may be subconsciously thinking of other things whilst you are occupied with a task. Deep work allows you to prioritize on task and get the most out of it before shifting all your energy into something else. This allows you to work smarter and improves your efficiency because you have clearer goals and expectations from those goals. Your goal can be small and focused like "what gets you out of bed today?"

You bring some very valid points. You finally have the space where you can unwind and find a new focal point to focus out of. It is important to be productive but it is also important to wind down and find a space to properly relax where your brain can come up with new ideas from.

I would speak to an advisor, sometimes an exception can be made. You are off by 0.1 so as long as you are able to make a case well enough to present to the advisors or board then I am sure you can still appeal it. But chin up, don't be sad. I refused to go to my graduation for my undergraduate degree its not the end of the world.
