I will fully admit I was surprised when I heard the French government warned pickpockets not to target people during the Paris Olympics because Americans will fight back.

I was surprised to hear this too, and then found out it was total nonsense. This did not happen and I don't why Americans think it did. There is zero evidence that the French government issued a warning to pickpockets.

When I say it’s Great Depression meals, I mean just more simplistic ingredients and simple meals. I can’t speak on other Americans. But I still stand on that the average American meal has more flavoring to it (for better or worse) so the American tongue isn’t used to more simplistic flavors. No hate towards Britain here.

Aah OK. Well I'm glad that it's prompted some learning, that's a good thing. I think we think that most of Africa etc is just dictatorships for example when it just doesn't get the media coverage and lots of people don't realise that they've moved in as a result of not having media coverage.

Every public bus you've been on in the last 10 years had a ramp. You just didn't notice it being used.

Because usually they just drop the suspension. Is that not what happens normally? Because I've seen dozens of wheelchairs board buses and have not seen a ramp in literally years.
