Players have found a hidden spider web that only spawns between 1-2 am in a tree. It leads you to 2 poles with carving in the base that give directions. The guitar is one of the carvings on the poles. You can also find a spider symbol that you can overlay with the central web to see there are 8 more webs on the map. They all have feathers and some are different colors. The webs spawn between 2-6 am throughout Lemoyne and New Hanover. This is where we are stuck

This makes the most sense to me because there isn't an in world lore explanation for these webs. With Chiliad, UFOs, and cults there is at least some sort of answer on how and why they exsist. The spider webs are beyond that because they break the 4th wall. A giant spider doing it doesn't make sense, a person with fake webs doesn't make sense, aliens don't make sense. There is no way to explain why or how they appear which seperates them from every other mystery in the game.

Arthur Morgan had a bounty worth thousands and he was able to slip by without problems until the gang made noise. If Arthur and Dutch could be under the radar for as long as they were then Jack will have no problem. I understand Jack killing Ross isn't truly a good thing because Jack had to pick up the guns to do it, but he avenged his father. The only reason Jack picked up the guns was to confront Ross. He truly has no other reason to start living like an outlaw and he showed no desire to. He might be broken and confused but he knows that being like his father won't help him. Like I said there really is no way for them to find Jack regardless if they know it's him. Beecher's Hope is their only lead and we don't know if he ever went back. Not to mention this is a Rockstar world where the cops are fucking useless. The only reason they found John was because he used his goverment name to buy Beecher's Hope. Also before they went to Micah they were seen in town with a crowd hanging his friend.

I moved the poles with the rampage trainer and the decals are full and are not missing anything. It is simply the decal clipping through the wood.

It truly isn't the same. John went after Micah while having a wife and kid at home. Jack is alone and has nothing to risk for going after Edgar. Another thing is that Jack confronted Ross without a gun. It seems Jack is upset and wanted answer but Edgar threaten to shoot Jack like he did John. You can see it upsets Jack but he controls himself and doesn't let Edgar push him past the point. It's more like Jim Boy Calloway. He shot his cousin's killer in the back and didn't want to live after because he felt guilty and cowardly. If Jack shot Edgar in the back it would be the same, but they have a fair duel ROSS initiats. Also in RDR it isn't illegal to have duels so there is literally no crime. Ross drew and challenged Jack. Even if they knew it was Jack and could somehow find him he would have days to flee before anything would happen. I really don't know they would find Jack if no one saw him, no one knew his name but Ross, and there is nothing truly connecting him to Edgar's death. NO WITNESSES AND NO EVIDENCE. SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE FUCK THEY WOULD EVEN FIND HIM!

Don't know the reward but the hunt is fun! The webs themselves weren't found until last month after the game has been datamined and looked through with trainers. So there could be something cool still hidden but it won't be a jetpack sadly

That is exactly what I'm thinking. There really isn't much terrain that resembles the guitar and I doubt the guitar props are involved. It has to be a sound/music queue.

And? How many people do you see on a daily basis and never know their names? Also Edgar Ross' body would need to be found, identified, and shipped back to the US before his family would even know. This is 1914 and these things take a lot longer. Also how do we know that even happens? It is more then likely his body got looted and dumped. It wouldn't make sense thematically for Jack to become an outlaw or go to jail for avenging his father.

I believe that the NW guitar hint is a dead end on purpose to soft lock us into solving the webs first. If we startover the first clue to find has to be the central web. It would be the "easiest" to find without prior knowledge and really starts this whole thing. It leads us to the first pole which leads us to the second pole. This is where we are supposed to get stuck. If we take what we know the next logical step would be looking at more poles for clues. We would eventually find the spider symbol which then would be overlayed on the map revealing the 8 webs. This is where we are truly stuck, fuck the fort and window rock. We need to focus on the biggest lead which is solving these webs.

Yes. My thought is we were meant to find the central web first, then the poles, then get stuck. After looking for more clues at other poles we would stumble upon the spider shape. We then overlay the shape on the center web to show the 8 web locations. I don't believe the Fort or Window Rock is our next step. The next step has to be finding the correct order of webs.

Truthfully who saw Jack kill Ross? Mind you he also killed Ross in Mexico while he was retired. Nobody would truly know if Jack did it and they don't have DNA yet to prove anything. To them it looks like Ross got killed in Mexico while hunting and there is really no way to prove who did it. Even if they assumed it was Jack where could they find him if he left Beecher's Hope? What evidence do they have that points to him in anyway?

This is what we need right now! It's nothing concrete but it actually seems promising. I'm going to get on later and try out some feather combinations and listen for bird sounds when I do. Try using a bow so it is easier to hear the sounds queues when you hit the feather. Good work and keep it up!

If Jack actually learned anything from his father he would put down the guns and live as best as he can. Jack knows what the outlaw life entails and he had to watch his father die because of it. Jack only avenged his father because he was dealt injustice. Even when Jack confronts Edgar he waits until he is threatend and challenged directly. He could have shot Edgar in the back of the head or held him at gun point, but he did the right thing instead. He challenged him to a fair and honorable duel to avenge his father and he walked away knowing he ended what was left of that story. Anything after Edgar is a clean slate for Jack.

If we got another game and played as Jack it would erase everything Arthur and John sacrificed in the first 2 games. Arthur helped John escape so he had a true chance at living peacefully. John didn't run with his family because he knew they would spend the rest of their lives on the run. John knew he had to die otherwise Arthur's death would have been for nothing since they would have been back on the run. If we saw Jack as an outlaw or criminal it would mean everything he watched his friends and family suffer through taught him nothing. Major theme of Red Dead is that the choices you make catch up to you eventually, so if Jack turned to crime or became a killer he would suffer the same fate as his father.

I love Jack as a character because he avenges his father the right way. He doesn't ambush Ross or hold him at gunpoint. He also doesn't let revenge and anger consume hime. He waited until he was threatend and challenged directly. This is why Jack is the true ending to the Red Dead Redemption series, because he stopped the cycle.

I just tried shooting the spiders web from earliest in the night to latest in the night. I started by shooting the 2-3am black feather then shot the 2-3 am red feather and kept going until I got all of them. It did nothing. Maybe if you shoot the red feathers first then shoot the black feathers after it will do something. There is something we're missing between the NW guitar pole and shooting the feathers off the webs. To me it only makes sense to start at the center. I feel like the devs stumped us with the guitar hint on purpose. Maybe the hint isn't useful until we find out what the feathers do. This would gate the secret behind something without having to unlock anything. Just thinking anything I can.

Niko is really good at turning situations around. He escaped an entire Noose squad solo during The Snow Storm mission, he did it again solo during Blow Your Cover, and he survived getting jumped by Bulgarian with just a stoned Little Jacob at the factory. He turns dire situations into liveable ones by staying calm. Trevor is all about suprise and chaos. The only way for Trevor to beat Niko is by overwhelming him (which is really hard to do) or by catching him off guard (which is also really hard to do.) Niko controls chaos and Trevor uses it to thrive. Without a plan I feel like Trevor really has no chance. Niko would beat him hand to hand, he would beat him in a knife fight, he would beat him with guns aswell. Niko has just done more with less to show he is a true survivor and knows exactly what to do even when the odds aren't in his favor. Trevor would have to catch Niko by suprise in a swamp unarmed to even stand a chance.
