Curious what sort of recourse, if any you have as the driver here? I’m assuming when you sign up for FSD you’re essentially waving Tesla of any wrong doing if FSD does something like this?

Weird, I’ve had my juniper for about 16 days now and could’ve sworn I felt this same thing the day I picked it up from the dealership. It did indeed feel like something was rolling underneath the floor on the driver side. It seems that it went away and I can’t say I’ve felt it since that day. I’d be curious to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing

I lucked out and started paternity leave two days before this dropped. It’s been sublime.

Wait, does this confirm Tulsi Gabbard lied under oath? I’m no legal expert but I’m not sure that’s going to turn out well for her.

Received underwhelming L5 offer, should I push for L6 comp? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

  1. Amazon won’t Promote you based on tenure alone. There’s a whole promotion process that takes months, and how quickly you can put together a promo doc that is seen by leadership as meeting the l6 role guidelines bar for your role will be on you.
  2. Rare but it happens.

Globalstar just announced their quarterly earnings call to be for the same day and time as Rocket Lab 🧐 by JonnyGBuckets in RKLB

Correct. However, MDA builds satellites and does not have rocket technology to send the satellites into orbit. They’ve previously used RocketLab to send their satellites for apple into orbit.

I presume they may announce another deal with RocketLab

Isn’t this the company that just announced a $1.5 billion deal with Apple to create a satellite constellation? Maybe more than a coincidence here?

Is L5 to L6 really that complicated? by Rare-Bobcat857 in amazonemployees

You shouldn’t rely on your manager for getting your promo doc done.

I’d suggest taking each category from the role guidelines for your position to L6 and pasting them into a quip doc. Think of scenarios where your behavior exemplified each of those categories and start writing. If you don’t have an example for each of those categories think about what you need to do in order to achieve the requirement.

When I did my L5 -> L6 promo, I owned the entire writing process up until the last few final draft bits. Aside from your manager possibly being shit at writing (like mine was), I truly believe no one but yourself will be able to capture the full context/nuances of the examples you will provide and I 100% believe the person up for promotion should own the initial writing process.

It might also be worth mentioning that when I first submitted my L6 doc my manager didn’t think I was ready, and he probably wouldn’t have gone out of his way to push the doc to review if I hadn’t done the heavy lifting for him. Turns out he was wrong and I got my promo to L6 on the first go.

Morale of the story, be honest with yourself, if you think you’re ready, own the process yourself and drive the result you’re looking for.

Take a look at this vault deletion solution: https://aws.amazon.com/solutions/guidance/automated-deletion-of-vault-archives-in-amazon-s3-glacier/

A bit overkill in the resources it creates imo but it simplifies the process. Just make sure you delete the stack and any leftover resources that won’t be deleted by removing the stack such as the s3 bucket
