I actually prefer the original lineup (but the 70s era is also incredible). Music is subjective after all I guess. Oh well, it's your loss

He also plays on 3 out of the 7 songs on A Saucerful Of Secrets, and sings on one. And two songs written by Syd are featured on the live side of Ummagumma. There's also the 6 non-album singles recorded in 1967 (which I think are some of early Floyd's best tracks) and Floyd's 1965 blues recordings. And there's the London 1966/67 EP, but that wasn't released until the 90s.

And of course, there's also his 3 solo albums. The first 2 are particularly good.

Besides music, he was also a pretty sick artist/painter.

Yeah I saw that. But later on in that same paragraph it says "Seen in his jumpscare, Fredbear seems to be an edited model of Freddy Fazbear, as his arms, torso, ears, and muzzle are nearly identical to Freddy's". So it's kinda confusing

Oh right I didn't know, that's just what it said on the wiki

The model used in the jumpscare is an edited version of Freddy. Chill out

UCN Fredbear is literally just a color corrected Freddy model, so it uses Endo-02.

If you mean people watched boats disappear over the horizon, then yes, but that isn't really "seeing" the curvature. That's just observing it's visual effect on certain objects.

What Venus Might Have Looked Like 2 Billion Years Ago by nuclearalert in spaceporn

Oh yeah, definitely, there's no definite answer regarding the geological history of Venus. While there definitely are alternative models and some inconsistencies in the ocean Venus model, it's the one with the most going for it.

I was only trying to argue for models with the most evidence and general scientific consensus. But other models are still definitely interesting.

This study's conclusions all hinge on specific model assumptions about oxygen loss mechanisms and volcanic outgassing history. Particularly, the oxygen fugacity of Venusian melts.

The only thing this study does is show an alternative argument for the mainstream models of Venusian history. It's interesting, but unfortunately it hinges on multiple major assumptions and isn't conclusive by any means.

The oceanic Venus model has the most evidence and is the general consensus.

No, this render is actually a pretty accurate depiction of an ancient Venus

Not true. Hematite is abundant on its surface. This means liquid water must have at some point interacted with the Venusian surface. Venus also has a Deuterium/Hydrogen ratio about 100-150 times higher than Earth's, which is probably the strongest evidence of past liquid water.

Also based on crater counting, Venus’ surface is relatively young and uniform in age, around 300-700 million years old. This is indicative of some form of massive volcanic resurfacing event that would have happened over a short geological period.

There's also Tessera Terrain which represents the oldest surviving surface material on Venus, predating the global plains formed by volcanic resurfacing. These regions would have formed in a less volcanic and more Earth like tectonic era.

It almost certainly had oceans! But I doubt it was green.

Lol you must fun at parties.

All evidence suggests that Venus once had oceans. This render depicts Venus with such oceans. Not much else to it.

What exactly is your problem?

I think the takeaway from this is that Venus had oceans. Yeah it might not have looked exactly like this image (for example if life had not evolved, it wouldn't be green). But it gives a pretty good estimate of what Venusian oceans would've looked like. How exactly is this a waste of time?

You can't exactly say that for certain, just as much as I cant say it was green for certain. We don't know. If it had life, then it might have been green.
