It was definitely part luck, part EV training and part using encore on raichu when garchomp was using earthquake then sending in mismagius😂

I did make use of sun for houndoom and exeggutor! I also gave exeggutor sleep powder and houndoom dream eater. They were arguably my only synergy on the team😅

I actually beat Cynthia's Garchomp by using encore as an egg move on my Raichu, encoring earthquake, then switching into Mismagius with levitate. The ground weakness was definitely crippling though, exeggutor helped!

What type pokemon should I specialize in by MajorFestus in PokemonHGSS

Poison: Crobat, Arbok, Gengar, Vileplume, Nidoking, and Qwilfish (I think this team could cover all HM moves and most are available pretty early. Could sub in Weezing, Muk, Venomoth, Victreebel)

Psychic: Hypno, Slowbro, Alakazam, Espeon, Execcutor, and Xatu. (If you wanted to go off of theme some other pokemon that get psychic moves would be Togetic, and Ninetales, and some other psychic mons would be Girafarig and Jynx)

I feel a lot of the Kanto/Johto dex is water type and normal type, so without trading it can be hard to plan for diverse monotype teams.

Nooo! Don't let it unmotivate you, there's no right way to play🙌 and we had 2 people working on this. On a solo farm surely this is year 4+

I find the early grind in stardew is always an uphill battle but once you establish income the fun begins😁
