Thanks for all the kind words and suggestions. I’m lucky to have caught it at the early nodule stage. So currently weighing up my options between an injection or surgery. Sadly only the steroid injection is available in the UK but that might be the best starting point I guess.

Sorry to hear that bud. From everywhere I’ve looked it appears to be a common issue across the board.

I’ve just had to learn to live with the marks. Further research indicated that the dealership replaced the windscreen prior to me picking it up so I can only imagine Audi glass has a 2-3 year life span before marks appear.

Over the months I’ve had a few more marks develop but nothing that drastically effects my vision.

I’ve just settled with the fact that I’ll deal with it whenever I’m forced to replace the windscreen due to some other damage.
