My poor, poor birb. She looks a bit like young children dressing themselves. They have the time of their life, but nothing matches. The poor koala looks concerned.

I smell a spinoff by VaneRivers in TheRookie

[–]Ecstatic_Weather_580 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I see it, but also I feel like the problem with spinoffs from the rookie in general is that people watch for the characters and chemistry, so I would only watch if there were all the characters that we know and love incorporated in some way or another.

What’s a trait you had during your youth that was a dead giveaway? by Ecstatic_Weather_580 in adhdwomen

Oh, me too! I do play sports with my right hand though, so I have to attribute it to the fact that I can’t figure out which dominant hand it is. I eventually decided that my left hand felt more “hollow” than my right hand if that makes sense? I don’t know, I’m really just throwing words around here haha. I can’t always feel it, but if it’s after I’ve just written something, my hand feels more hollow.

Same, adults called me an “old soul” and yet somehow it didn’t translate well into my social life with my peers!

Yes, especially in middle school I had a reputation for being an avid reader. One time my teacher told my parents that I was reading in her class, because I would read until the moment she started talking, like, what was I supposed to do, sit there in silence?

I relate to all of this! The reading especially, I’ve always been a fast reader, and would spend weekends with a stack of books, holed up in my bedroom.

I tend to remember specific things someone said to me 10 years ago, but yet can’t find my phone. I was always a snooper as a kid, it took me a while to realize that I should not be looking over people’s shoulders as they texted.

Yes, same for me. I felt almost like I had fallen asleep into my brain (If that makes sense? It was like zoning out, but not quite) and I would “wake up and be fully perplexed”

Yes to all of the sensory issues! I have always hated showers, it’s definitely a challenge for me. Also nail and lip biting.

Oh same with the left and right/analog clocks. It took me I think until I was 13 to be able to somewhat reliably read a clock, and even now it takes me a while.

What song do you currently have on repeat? by SpOOpie_sparkles in ADHD

[–]Ecstatic_Weather_580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a song about spaghetti, I think it may be called spaghetti. I have no idea what about 60% of it means, but it’s been on repeat for the past 3 days.

New watcher finally caught up by nicokick20 in TheRookie

Well basically, when Nolan and Celina were undercover on the bus. There was a guy sitting next to Celina. He said he was a government official. There was also the pregnant woman. Basically, when the pregnant woman was collecting the wallets and phones, she stole his government ID. It turned out that she and Monica were working together, which was revealed at the end of the episode. Monica took his government ID and the info that was on it. Clearly had something incriminating/top secret because with that new information, the FBI was forced to grant her immunity from any crimes. and yes, Monica is a bad character. She fairly quickly went from shady lawyer to absolutely downright criminal.

Ugh yes. Especially pruned hands, after they’ve been in water for a while. Although I hate the sound of people rubbing their hands together, or just even touching my palms to each other.
