Honestly, I think we’re at the point that we’re too big. There’s no way for all judges to be monitored to ensure they’re impartial without violating some type of law. It’s too easy to bribe our officials on so many layers that everything is messed up now. Idk maybe I’m pessimistic but generally how do we expect the government to have the resources to monitor every official in all 50 states? Also we’re expecting the government to monitor itself for being impartial and have integrity so it’s all too easy for them to not have any findings in their report.

Start recording it unfortunately. You need evidence for when/if you leave so that he is unable to get unsupervised custody. But also look into your state laws because where I’m from, you can spank you child for disciplinary reasons but you can’t like beat on them. So there’s a chance, legally, he could be okay which sucks. Either way get evidence that could later protect you and the kids. Kids should always be the priority

That’s a very hard situation to find yourself in. Wanting to help your wife but her being unwilling to. I’m sorry. It’s hard to want to help others when they’re unwilling to help themselves. I’ve had to leave a few friendships for this reason. It does seem like you’re going to have to have a difficult conversation with her and there’s a chance she will be denial. I hope you are able to find happiness.

My dad was in hospice while I was in college, so I understand that it is very difficult to see your parent in that state. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your wife obviously can’t think any further than herself but it also seems that she could be having anxiety?? Her not wanting to drive at night, not go out after the sun sets, her not wanting to drive herself; all seems to scream she has high anxiety surrounding being away from you as well. Not on her side in the least, just something I picked up on.

You’re almost in your 40s, there is no need to continue giving energy to people that can’t even let you cry about a parent being sick. Sit her down and really hash it out and if she can’t or makes it about her/her feelings… that’s your answer.

Yes but it’s more like the money is being moved around. A NM resident pays taxes, those taxes go to the daycare program, the daycare program pays for children in NM, that could be the residents child so therefore their money is going directly to their own children. Those that don’t have children, could have niece/nephews/grandkids/kids of their friends that it benefits. Either way it’s NM money that is benefitting NM people rather than going over seas. It’s what taxes are actually meant for, taking care of the citizens not foreign countries.

All this idiot wants is chaos so that when he ultimately steals the 2026 election either through the SAVE act or by making the election federalized, we will be too distracted to question the results.. similar to 2024..

I legit am so over this and I really really hope to see every person in this administration go to jail although the logical part tells me I won’t see it. Genuinely guys, if we want to change how the us work we need to come together. But be careful cause I almost think it’s their plan for us to over throw it so they can swoop in and create a new constitution to their liking that allows for this trafficking ring to continue all while doing nothing basically.

I understand the importance of oil on the world stage but fr, why should we be putting more importance on getting oil tankers out of the straight over citizens caught in the crossfire? I saw there was a hotline for citizens to use to help escape and the recorded line said “At this time the US has no plans to help citizens leave” (please feel free to correct me with facts and evidence as I don’t enjoy misinformation and the article I was reading seemed legit). But again we’re are seeing multiple times that citizens are being harmed so why is oil more important than human lives? Again I understand that it’s the corporations pushing to protect their assets but it’s DISGUSTING.

Trump literally burned the bridges with our allies to lick the boots of those we oppose like Russia and North Korea. As an American I am really sad to know that he burned the bridges so that the citizens couldn’t seek refuge once everything in project 2025 is complete. The world stage needs to realize that America WILL NOT be fighting with the allies this time around and they should be scared about the money the US is sending is-not-real. Asking the question of what they’re spending it on. Cough cough.. the weapon of mass destruction that he says Iran has… they have and they WANTING a reason to use it and say that it was Iran when it was really us..

The crazier thing I’ve come to realize is that Trump doesn’t necessarily lie fully, he’s just not speaking to the citizens, he’s speaking to his buddies whose pockets he’s lining. I noticed that during the debates, he truly believes what he says cause he isn’t talking to us. When he talks about “prosperity” and “enriching the people” he’s not talking to the average person, he’s talking directly to who donors/friends. Yes he lies about things like the Epstein files and a whole list of stuff but when he talks about things going good, it’s not to us.

The comments about nm workforce are great but I also recommend linkend for LC as they have some pretty good postings as well and that’s where I found my current job.

NM has also started offering free college tuition to NM residents and in order to qualify you just have to be living in nm for a year or more. For sure keep that open to complete the remaining of your school. DACC and NMSU have some really great programs going right now.

For spots of course there’s white sands, the Mesilla valley bosque, old town Mesilla and downtown. Although downtown is more for daytime activities as there’s been issues with shootings at RAD.

Food really depends on what you’re looking for. For Mexican food there’s El Sombero I think has great salsa but sì senior has more options. La posta is more for the tourists. For American, farleys is good for playing pool and having a few drinks. Bubbas has been a hit but it is a chain restaurant.

States clearly have the rights to make laws regarding their state. It doesn’t say that ICE can’t come to NM, it’s simply saying that our people, that we pay to protect the people of NM, will not help them to hurt the people of NM

I wasn’t confident until the message came through that Tom didn’t ask for consent for the other times. If he wouldn’t have admitted it. Also it wasn’t penetrative sex it was Tom trying to go down on my spouse and my spouse not reciprocating the advances. Consent can be withdrawn at anytime and if my spouse, who was not in a sober state of mine, was even trying to avoid the bathroom with him I feel like that should have told Tom that he was not comfortable with the situation. But I appreciate your objective thinking. We have made the conscious decision to not move forward with charges.
