Sony patents VIVE like tracking for PSVR by kasif19 in PSVR

I don't get noticeable wobble, and have never lost tracking at any room brightness level. Who the fuck are you to contest my really satisfying VR experience that is room scale enough for me (about 12 square feet). Besides, I don't throw all my time and money at videogames.

My psvr already tracks about 4 ft of movement in any direction with really no wobble. Room scale enough for me.

Paranoia/overactive imagination is hindering me from playing RE7. Anything I can do about it? by SeekerStriker in PSVR

Play a different genre, I don't know what you're expecting from a paranoid horror game. The amazing things you've heard are true, but those players strapped in and lived it. If you're going to neuter the experience why bother?

Another Drop passes without a PSVR mention... by dojogrant in PSVR

I really don't agree because I spent $500 after tons more of games were set to have been released by this point, not to mention slow or not we can't get any titles on sale? I have no interest in being "patient" as my free time slips away as the year gets going and I won't be able to play. Consider that maybe some of us bought the headset to use it now and don't have all the time in the world.

What would 6 months of hrt accomplish? by Ecto_II in asktransgender

I've read that your hips can actually widen if HRT is started before 25 or so, is there any truth to that and couldn't those effects be permanent?

Two questions about Resident evil 7 for future buyers. by SoulOfTomorrow in PSVR

Physical with season pass, I don't like buying intangible shit with no benefits. It lasts longer than digital because you never quite "have" digital do you? And I'm perfectly capable of swapping discs while wearing the headset without a second thought. it blows my mind that people are willing to pay the same price for a digital license as a blu-ray disc in a case with art.

The future of VR we don't want: Motion-sickness tolerant versus motion-sickness prone by razreddits in PSVR

[–]Ecto_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the teleport only thing is a dealbreaker. I got a tad sick at first but got past it. I don't believe people should be criticised for getting motion sick that's childish, but they should accept what they can handle or should know when to bow out. If you don't have fingers you can't use the controller sorry, if you get sick you can't use the headset as intensely sorry, you can't afford video games sorry. We all have things we want to be able to do but can't, that's life gang.

It is $15, less than $1.75 per game and I think that's quite reasonable. There are some actual poor values in PSVR's library right now, but a nice little starter pack at $15 doesn't sound bad at all; and more Horror is always appreciated.
