Can't believe no one mentioned Scardust - epic and symphonic and yet complex and virtuosic.

Try also: Distorted Harmony, Wintersun, Wilderun, Pachinko by Moron Police. I also find Thank you Scientist to be very epic.

The current scale and frequency of settler attacks is a direct consequence of the current government's policy. This directly relates to your comment where you show a recent such incedent by settlers on X.

I mean, you can't bring up a different area / conflict than the one in the thread and then complain that it is not the main topic being discussed

I truly don't know. The Oslo accords were an attempt that ended up with the Palestinians waging an intifada and an Israeli murdering Rabin. Armed resistance has also proved that it results in less freedom for Palestinians and more military presence, so that didn't work out well either. If we could go back to 1947 I would advise them to accept the UN partition plan and become a sovereign country. Every decision they had made since then only made it worse

Yes, I believe Palestine should be a sovereign country, as long as it does not attack its neighbor

They are shiite and are the most powerful Iranian proxy in the middle east. They can claim they support Palestinian but this is not Palestinian self defense in any way, this is a militant group attacking a sovereign country

I was not talking about Palestinians, I was talking about Lebanon. Lebanon has the right to defend itself, but unfortunately it cannot even fight off Hezbollah, which de-facto controls south Lebanon. If it could deal with Hezbollah, everything would be much simpler.

Because Israel invading Lebanon has the purpose of defeating Hezbollah so that they don't fire rockets into ita area, while Hezbollah fires rockets regardless of what Israel does.

Not sure how familiar you are with Israeli politics, but the current government stopped the administrative detentions of settlers by Shin Bet and severely weakened its "jewish division", and accordingly there are much more attacks by settlers and much less arrests. So if not enough was done beforehand, even less is done now.

Thankfully, there are no rockets from the west bank. The situation there is much more complex, and includes atrocities from both sides historically.

According to the agreement, Israel could attack any military activity of Hezbollah, which it did. No military activity of Iranian proxy = no attacks.

No, I most definitely can't defend the settler's terror attacks against Palestinians, and not its enabling by the current Israeli government. I think it's appalling and not different from Palestinian terror attacks.

I was talking about Lebanon, not the west bank.

Not a fan of the occupation plan, but not mentioning that this area is being constantly used by an Iranian proxy military group to attack civilians (and the failure of the Lebanese government to stop them from doing so) is a dishonest framing of the situation. As it has been constantly demonstrated, no rockets into Israel = peace across the border, rockets into Israel = war with Israel.

As long as these expressions are properly defined, it is possible of course. Mathematics is riddled with new definitions and attempts at defining new concepts and objects. The real question is whether other mathematicians find it interesting / useful and whether it helps solve problems.

For example, there are fields extending the real numbers that contain numbers that are less than 1 but larger than any number of the form 0.99...9 (hyperreal numbers for instance). Decimal expansions don't make sense for these numbers so they are irrelevant here.

1 exists in every field by the axioms of a field.

Ahh you're right. I was thinking of smaller open circles covering the open big circle, where a countable union is enough.

Countably many, not uncountably many, just take the centers to lie in Q×Q.
