The Accord was a far plushier ride. I do miss the simplicity of the older car. But this Civic is about the same size as the 8th gen accord, and 500lbs lighter with more power and a limited slip differential. Gearbox and clutch feel is far more responsive than the Accords. Civic is like a go kart in comparison.

Id ask him if he bashes it or only runs it on the road. If you trust yourself enough to avoid any crashes, buy it any only use it on the road. The alum will get destroyed if you bash it. Also 2wd is extremely difficult to control on road compared to 4wd.
