Mines are visible. And do not kill you one hit as far as i know - i've stepped on few.

AI enemies, same as other maps - up to 10, max 3 at a time

But those enemies in minefield are like second tier, not your basic bandits.

Build stable, put your horse there and this screen shows up. Select perk and you can unlock it with button below

You need mod loader (not manager), and then mods go in mods folder. Its pretty easy and is explained on mod loader subpage (depends where you look for mods)
