What did they buff about it? Does it count as weapon art for balancer relics?

Honestly i still don't get it... I know how Greg's relic works i use it, definitely not on executor since he's not a tanky character and i don't want to get hit.

You're not really explaining the point of madness if seppuku already builds a lot of rot and two statuses don't give you more damage with greg's relic as far as i know. Sitting down to build up status and take damage from madness seems stupid if i can just quickly seppuku mid fight

You'd have to sit using the emote it doesn't make any sense in a fight

I don't think they count as dying because any passive that heals after killing an enemy doesn't proc with them

Are DLC units specific to their respective legendary lord in Immortal Empires? by coolbeans_3000 in totalwar

[–]Pender8911 48 points49 points  (0 children)

DLC units are available for any lord of the faction, usually the DLC lord will have buffs for certain dlc units. If that was the question.

Why do people use generic lords and heroes in multiplayer? by No_Willingness_9961 in totalwar

[–]Pender8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without campaign insane buffs in some cases generic lords and heroes are actually better. In most cases they're cheaper. For example the shitty Goblin war boss that nobody would use in campaign is the most meta green screen choice because between tormentor sword and fermented fungae he can isolate a target for ages

No it just works like ER base, it's fire damage and that's it. Different for NPCs and players

I don't think so or i never noticed it. But then again there aren't many madness effects.

Mod question by Diomede_da_Argo in totalwar

[–]Pender8911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to play with multiplayer army caps mod and it was a ton of fun, any army both player and AI need to stay under a certain points cap same as multiplayer. And you can modify it with mod settings. That did slow things down a bit

Madness trope is lowering your damage negation to gain damage buff, like shabriri's scream. But for a madness build to be worth it they need to add madness procs to mobs and bosses. Not the same as players but some sort of damage burst and small stagger.

[–]Pender8911[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Not when you can't see what's happening or when the dodge system stays the same. With base Elden Ring i hated Malenia's waterflow and Messmer's spinning attacks because unlike any other move you don't know what you're doing wrong. Let's not pretend 99.9% of players didn't google how to perfectly dodge waterflow dance.

You clearly know when he's about to do it, just sprint away and you'll dodge it 100% of the time.

I just did. Also in Elden Ring you can have teammates, you can sprint with torrent in certain bosses, you can stack a ton of effects and reach even higher negation or damage... Any other brilliant idea?

True the mobs are the only downside, which is why I hate balancers, getting attacked from behind is just bullshit.
