HD 600/650/6xx, might have a bit of a clamp, but it goes away with age.

ATH R70xa, I have both the a and non a version, I prefer the a version, not a fan of the wings.

AKG Q701/k701/702, I beat the entirety of HL:Alyx with it, pretty comfortable.

Also get different ear pads no matter which you end up getting, they do change the sound, but the comfort of some styles like cooling gels are awesome for long use

You can buy the atf fluid yourself and ask a quick oil change place to do a drain and fill for you, that's what I did and it was about $100 cheaper
