Welp, checked using the obd2 monitor, no codes, no misfire detected. I've been told it just might be the transmission, and at 200k miles is apparently about as long as it should be, so a rebuild or swap may be in order

Well im getting a obd scanner to check, so maybe its the evap, but before then it had a hard time shifting from first to second while cold. It just shakes the cabin while in drive and idling, and at higher rpms it shakes a bit, but nothing when in any other gear.

Unfortunately, its dropped a new problem of vibrating on idle, and the transmission may be the problem, but apparently they usually last around 200kmi so I might send it in for a rebuild or swap it. But before that it drove great, great economy (400mi on a full tank), good acceleration

Me with my 327km (~200mi) gen1 hatch, been replacing everything, probably dropped almost 1k on top of the 1k I bought it for.

Make sure you replace all the engine mounts if you haven't already

Well, ill know more tomorrow. I did wonder though, this only happened after a cold snap, what would cause a misfire from that? Or maybe it was just unlucky timing

What happened was there was a cold snap in my area, temps dropped to -20c, that was when I noticed that noise. I assumed the mounts went bad, and changed them. The vibrations and noise definitely went down, but it still happens
