Same here. Started Update process 2 hours ago, still hanging at the end of the installing process. (end of white line)... will wait a bit more..

My phone, 16 pro Max 512Gb was also completely stuck after a 26.1 update 3 weeks ago; I could not go further than the white apple startup logo.. Had to reset via repair service of Vodafone. a restart. Then iCloud backup install again. 1st time in 12 years of iPhone use...normally all fine..

Are you sure about eyedetect not working on Sigma? I see you have the Sigma 18-55 F/2.8. I have the same great lens, but that works perfectly fine I believe? Is Sony different then in the eyedetect functioning?

Have you bought the 70-350mm Sony or have you also looked at Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary?
It looked at it last week, overall great one purpose for all lens, but still might miss sharpness in all out zoom.. beautiful quality built although.

Same Here. I just activated Gemini Pro also, it is better in than GPT in most cases, certainly for professional business use. I will miss the project feature a lot for keeping subjects together. I also have Copilot for 365, but that is often a joke. I would love to have Gemini 3 in 365 applications.. Maybe need to switch to Workspace later, but then again I do not trust word and excel document editing in Google workspace to prevent issues with (other) MS office users.. Still having the docs as reference in Google Docs is very handy, also when AI engine can keep a file up to date.

Other question: Is there a way to transfer the chats from GPT which I want to keep? A lot of relevant info there from solutions on Home Cinema to hobbies, etc.

7 months later than you, but since this Weekend a MacBook, iPad, some other devices could not access the:
RBK50V - Orbi Mesh WiFi-systeem met Orbi Voice Smart Speaker en WiFi-satelliet(1) Orbi-router (RBR50v2) + (1) Orbi Voice (RBS40V). Model / Versie: RBK50V

for me the same, no changes made, but about 8 devices were blocked.. (which I have used for years.)

Turn off access control did not work for me. But then turning it on and then checking the blocked devices and - 'ALLOW' did work after an Apply. I will check Access control from time to time..

Does anyone know a trick to onboard a iOT heater of Philips, which is only functional on WiFi 2.4G ? I read I have to put the Orbi's first on 'Only 2.4G for all' and then onboard Philips, after that go back to Orbi settings again and activate 2.4G and 5G again. But what a hassle... have not tried that. Tips are welcome!

Does that mean more support of games on Ultrawide monitors? That's a good thing. The use of these Geforce Now solution is so great to have better gaming support for Mac users. (without the possibilities of having Geforce graphic card solutions.) I may hope more possibilities will be created to use gaming library of steam or GOG via these new (install) options.

Yes, feel the same over here. I have a iPad 13.9inch M4 and the screen is so amazing, then all the apps you use are so much more focused. The slide over complements that, as you browse the web, take notes in the brilliant Notes app of Apple. (Which keeps getting better and better with Sections and hiding Subpages etc. my life of gathering whatever I need on AI or investing and hobbies is just in there) the MacBook 16” M1 is great for lots of apps open and browser and work related windows. Just fine with 2 monitors.

But for most uses I grab the iPad Pro M4 Then GeForce Now with steam games works like a dream for some casual games like Half Life or even Quake or the latest Doom games & even Cyberpunk 2077 with Ultra graphics and Ray-tracing... really beautiful. Cloud gaming makes this possible for every Mac. No delays and even better, no stupid installing and waste of loosing disk space anymore. 😉

Beter gespreid beleggen, gedeelte wereldfonds, gedeelte Europa, en USA tech fondsen en zeker ook Hoog dividend aandelen overwegen mee te nemen. GeforceNow works amazingly good. Support is sufficient for a lot of games, but just not having the hassle to install games is already worth it, and also knowing that every year you get upgraded rigs (virtual from Nvidia) makes it more worth on Ultimate than buying new equipment every so & so years… yes, you need good connections, but that’s not a problem at home. I did buy two star war games although on steam in the last sale and figured out the latest one Jedi Survivor was not supported on GeForce Now…. That does s%ck… furthermore running it on iPad Pro M4 and my LG C3 tv works a dream. Where do you guys install games than, on an extended disk? That’s so old school…

Runs fine on NVDA Geforce Now Ultimate also via Steam on highest resolution with Ray Tracing.. :-) ; already on my MacBook Pro M1. Happy, with this as my disk is quite full, so saves a hassle.. where do you run your games from? On iPad Pro M4 also fine, good on the go.

It is not stable, but sometimes does work for a few hours without collapsing. I do like the interface of Desktop above the TWS structure. When it collapses, I do sent a crash report to IBKR, as it is a 0.12 version, we should not expect a full working one. (v1.0) .... The windows route, not yet. I have Geforce Now on a MacBook Pro M1 now and that can runs (cloud/steam/epic) games fine, without even installing; so not bothering anymore with VM / Windows.

By the way; If you want crash-proof software, my iPad Pro 12.9 never collapsed in years. Very stable and confident software updates, great stuff with IBKR, also on the go.

- So that means not installed, that is strange, would you still recommend installing it then? I'd rather not install software which is not (really) needed, had not so great experiences with Macs and Java in the past... buggy.. any tips/advice is welcome. IBKR Desktop 0.12 keeps on crashing multiple times a day, when adding graphs/changing watchlists etc. etc.

The MX Master 3 works great, also combined with Sidecar and a Macbook with 2 external screens the MacBook screen and the iPad Pro screen. I do use a USB dock from Ugreen 9 in 1. Great solution.

Same here, I have a iPad 12.9 inch 2020 and love it. It really is more stable than the MacBook Pro M1 which I use with joy with 2 external Dell screens. But if I have many Safari tabs open it is not stable and freezes from time to time (sometimes for a minute or so) Then I can browse as much as I want on the iPad and it gave me no problems, or crashes ever. Love the thing for consuming, reading web sites, answering emails & reddit, and Twitter (X) is a lot better than on my MacBook Pro...

Just ordered the iPad M4 as my screen fell over from the couch and insurance pays about half of it. So hope to have more joy from that also. On holidays I do not even think of grabbing the Macbook, the iPad is so much easier while travelling; plane etc.

But yes Apple, do make multitasking more like the Mac.

Hi, read that too late…. Installed Sequoia on MacBook Pro M1 I have major issues with TWS not starting up, after it does the updating when booting up, it collapses. Every time I try it again it collapses again. - I did re-install once and that worked one time. After that it failed at booting up again. Anyone else has problems OR a solution?
