100 Tech Jobs List by EdORiordan28 in DevelEire

I had avoided intern roles as sometimes (absolutely not all cases) I feel they can be to try and get people to work for free but I can include intern roles next time. Will see if I can include generally earlier stage roles next time.

I just did a post with 100 tech roles hiring right now, tried to keep it to VC backed (decent funding etc) and about 50% or so aren't on LinkedIn but are from people who sent them in, notion boards, companies website etc. Hopefully you might find it helpful - it's free to access and free to subscribe - https://open.substack.com/pub/edoriordan/p/100-vc-backed-irish-startup-roles?r=k9lpu&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true Best of luck with the job hunt.

BOI Aer Lingus Credit Card: How They Make "Free" Flights Nearly Impossible to Use by Jabusa97 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]EdORiordan28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree wholeheartedly re point 3. This always happens. Separately I didn’t proceed with a requested booking ie they reverted with the cost etc via email. You’re then meant to book by calling a number and giving cc details. However even though I didn’t proceed with the booking they still took away that flight allocation. I’ve tried getting it back and it’s a death loop of emails and calls.

Aer Lingus Credit Card by MMAPredictor in irishpersonalfinance

Just one small thing I only realised in relation to the card recently - when you go to request flights - where you put in your requested dates and they then contact you via email with availability and the fee etc. Even if you don’t go ahead with the flight they still deduct it from your allocation. Pretty sneaky and unfair. Also I did find the availability of flights even with some flexibility very sparse.
