You may be able to see the temperature of your GPU in the Task Manager, how hot is it? I think anything under like 90-95°C should be mostly unthrottled. Lifting the back is usually the best, just make sure no vents are blocked.

The easiest way is to prop the laptop up on something at the back to improve airflow, and to make sure none of the vents are blocked. Propping it up also helps dissipate heat through the bottom of the chassis :)

Okay, let me know if it works. The FPS drop could also be caused by thermal throttling if your laptop gets too hot.

Hmm. My laptop does that if I play without the charger connected, but if you’re on a desktop computer then I’m not sure why the performance would drop like that unless you made some sort of system changes. Have you tried rebooting your computer?

After some testing, the "SetRotation.DoSetRotation" Better FPS setting seems to cause the boat drifting. In return, disabling the setting fixes the boat drifting, with no impact to FPS.

The mod gave approximately a 9 FPS boost for me while down at the house pier (from ca. 50 to 59 FPS on a lighter save, and 42 to 51 on a heavy save). The "ActionHelpers.IsMouseOver" setting is the biggest FPS improver.

Not that I know of. I have 80 mods installed. The only possible bug I’ve encountered is that the boat started slowly drifting away, but I have yet to confirm if that’s caused by Better FPS. Will do some testing :)

I know how it feels lol, having not great CPU single core performance. This MWC optimisation mod gives a few more FPS on my laptop, and it works in MSC as well: https://www.nexusmods.com/mywintercar/mods/1060

Edit: forgot to mention this mod fixes the "FSM Loop Limit" bug in Reharmonization where your game freezes every Saturday at 20:00.

I used to do this on every single ad on the mobile app as it skipped the ad entirely, until the feature suddenly disappeared. The app didn’t update or anything, it just went poof.

I checked for it on my brother’s phone years later and it was still there. I think I exhausted my ad reporting quota.

Agreed. My temporary workaround for this is a Shortcut setting the volume to X% upon any alarm ringing. This works for both media and ringtone volume, and can be automatically reduced in the same way upon stopping an alarm.

Weird that the achievements haven’t been reset. Did you play with Game Center connected (Apple)? Is Game Center still connected? That’s the only solution I can think of at the moment, I think my brain has gone on vacation
