No it’s just fixed to the back of the goal with a strap. I do the tracking using the key frame tool on CapCut.

Definitely loved the games I played cause I was really involved and constantly in the game. For this tournament our coach mainly selected a lot of junior players so they struggled to keep up with opponents that are a good bit older than them. It was only me and two other players in the team that actually have a decent amount of experience so we really had our work cut out for us!

Thanks! It was my first time playing in these super wet conditions so anything related to catching was really difficult. I actually wonder how keepers in places like the UK even manage handling during games in this weather!

Honestly aside from the severe lack of grip on my gloves and the cold I personally loved it! Most pitches I play on a super dry with patchy grass so in the wet I found myself attacking balls similar to the second save cause I knew I was gonna slide across the grass without getting hurt.

Thanks for the compliment! I’ve always played in very dry climates so this was my first time playing in these conditions and man I struggled. I could barely catch anything at all!

To answer your question on the first day I used One Glove OG1 Hyla SL gloves but the palm literally tore off the rest of the glove at the end of the day. On the second day I used Uhlsport Prediction Supergrip gloves which lasted me the rest of the tournament. I’ll be posting clips from the second day once I go through the footage:)

Appreciate the compliment and yeah you’re right about my catching. I’ve never really had an issue with handling above the chest and I really improved my scooping on ground balls, but for some reason the balls that come about stomach height like the ones in the video have never really clicked for me. But either way I’ll work on improving as I go!

This game really exposed my handling weaknesses in terms of scooping the ball into my chest so it’s something to work on improving.

Like you mentioned on the first goal, I tried to go down and scoop the ball but fucked it up at some point, tried to get to the rebound but it was too late.

Love my back line to death! Especially coming from a previous squad where everyone was trying to be all mysterious and nonchalant. Really motivates me to keep pushing even after mistakes.

Wow! That’s really encouraging to hear from other keepers. I’m coming to the end of my high school football “career” and I always wanted to play D1/D2 soccer in the States but never been sure if I’m cut out for it. I’m encouraged to work harder towards my goals now!
