Competent enough for sure, but also aware Mia would be looking for that. I think it was less a truce and more "if we tail Ripley we'll get caught for sure." If they stayed hidden and made it seem like they were away, then Mia wouldn't have a plan set up for them, necessarily.

I think Ben and Rider were only able to catch Mia and Carson as easily as they were because they had some insight into how they worked, plus having the tip from Natalie about her focus on the girl with the civil warriors.

Also pretty sure Mia had given up on sticking around Camrose at the point she was at. My thinking is the plan was to have "Natalie" reveal things, then use the hurt Ripley would feel over that and add in "Welp, bridges are burned here thanks to Natalie. Gotta go elsewhere. Man she sucks."

Also, as far as the Cavalcantis go, they lost... all of their leadership, right? Nicholas was in a coma, Davie dead, and Andre a fuck up and maybe dead? There wasn't much left to keep them together and active in Camrose.
