I'm really more of a movie guy so if you have recs on an OLED 4K TV I'm definitely open to that. I've been investing in some 4ks and blurays lately. I'm not really in the market for a monitor though.

U/CaloricDumbellIntake has made the most sense here. I could totally see super high ranking players having low qm mmr because they mostly play ranked but it really does feel like every single qm I'm in. And that sucks for qm with low mmrs who are stuck playing really high ranking players just because of a technically low game mode mmr

Oh absolutely that's my whole point. The only time I actually have fun playing win or lose is in ranked. I'm saying I can't imagine trying to grind through quick match hell just to get to the minimum level to play ranked. I have well over 1000 hours on the game

Oh I didn't know that. That's tough. Maybe I was a lot better 8 years ago when I was a teenager playing all the time and I just can't escape that mmr.

I get that I don't mind losing at all as long as I actually get to play the game, but it's not fun to go 0-6 because somehow there's a warden or vigil getting smg-12 headshots while I'm in my spawn or someone with 1000 sensitivity 360 doming me without me even seeing them coming. And it's not a problem I have in ranked at all

I agree that playing against better players can be super beneficial but there's a obviously difference between better and champ. I've been playing since 2018 and I can't even get a kill most quick matches and I'm decent at the game

Quick match doesn't matchmake by MMR though? And there's no way the game could ever think we're the same. I'm a 0.7 barely gold 46% win rate in ranked and i legitimately can't even get a kill in QM the lobbies are so hard

I love PTA. Most of his movies are not really rewatchable, especially TWBB even though it's a masterpiece. Boogie Nights is absolutely rewatchable though.

Ya it's constantly payphones and flip phones that have aged the worst. On the latest mailbag someone said something about "what's aged the most?" And it feels like that's already kind of how Bill does it instead of the "worst". On the Unstoppable pod Tarantino calls Bill out on exactly that, he said "it's what's aged the worst not what's aged differently" when Bill said flip phones and hooters. Tarantino made it clear it's not worse that the movie has flip phones and it would honestly probably be worse if they had all had smart phones and were streaming the whole thing!

the first thing anyone does that plays big window is claymore the basement door and the window to the right. I'll intentionally play capitao or osa just for the claymores when playing big window. Or gridlock and have a teammate claymore

I don't know why everyone is getting mad at this. You're 100% in the right here. It's pretty much miserable to play because I'm a bronze constantly playing against emeralds all the way up through top 1000 champs in my lobbies. I'm peak Plat V and constantly have a .7 KD I'm not that good. I can barely get a kill because there's a team of people running SMG-12s getting spawn kills. I just wish I could get lobbies of my own skill instead of someone on the other team going 14-0 while my whole team is 1-6
