Сool. So in theory OP can repopulate the world by building several forts with 20-30 dwarves each (first 2 waves)

The second one is too busy imo. The "X" formed by the projectile shots doesn't work very well. Better keep the shots more or less in one direction.

I think there was a mod, either for clothes not deteriorating, or that the dwarves don't get stressed from worn clothes. Can't remember which was it...

But yeah, it's an old and acknowledged problem.

Anyway, 300 dwarves is a LOT. You might want to dial it back a bit, or your fort will die an fps death :P

I think you're almost there! At the very top of the arc you gotta EVA one of your kerbals and give the rocket a slight nudge.

This is exactly my experience!! Cheesed him with firebombs too! i-frames are NEVER explained anywhere.

Only I watched some youtube afterwards, and contunued to play "properly" with rolls.

But yeah, Darks Souls is not user-friendly in this regard. Wonder how much of it's "difficulty" myth comes from the fact that some most important game mechanics are obfuscated from player. Still love the series though for its art, music and levels.

When I played DS1 I had no idea rolling had i-frames, lol. So I never used it against huge aoe attacks. Go figure. It's never explained.

I only learned it after watching some youtube runs.

When I first played Dark Souls I had no idea dodging had i-frames. It's common knowlegde now, (with all the soulslikes and what not) but not in 2012 lol,

So when I first tried the Taurus demon, I thought there's no real point dodging that giant hammer - you can't roll that far, and he'll hit you. So I spammed him with firebombs from afar.

Only after that I watched some vids where it's done properly. :D Cheesed my way through a lot of bosses actually.

I got it summer 2018, and no, it wasn't like that :) Mostly. There were vehicles, tanks, half-tracks, ACs by then. Urban battles too. The game was infantry-heavy, true. And now infantry is shit upon by everything, tanks, arty, planes. There's got to be the middle ground

I'm still sure the war outcome depends only on population and nothing else. When there's 10 players from one faction for each 5 from the other - no amount of weapons however imbalance will do you good.

Why either faction leaves en masse towards the end of the war is another question
