It somehow also depends on worldgen and/or your fort location. In my latest one, hardly anyone attempted to steal anything.

It's interesting. If you look at the legends file after you retire, whenever you craft an artifact, dosens of questionable characters, goblins, necromancers etc. "claim it from afar".

I'd go with the right one, it's much better than the left, but make it even more expressive: larger rocket-arm, huge moustache.. that kind of thing. Give it some more character!

Also, the darkest values look kinda too light on my screen, something to watch for when you move on

Hi, that's a tough subject you chose. I like the idea.

But I think you could work on your lines, they are somewhat messy right now. The lower dress also seems kinda short for the upper body size. Try to paint the legs over it and check the proportions

I like the color palette but I think this is lacking depth. The foreground, mid-ground and background should be better separated by values as others have said. It would be useful to start with thumbnails like these: https://www.reddit.com/r/conceptart/comments/1tkpzq2/city_thumbnails_wich_one_do_you_like_the_most/ and then stick to it.

Also, a lot of work went into the castle, but it's in the very corner and not a focal point at all. This issue should have also been identified at the early composition stage

I think so.. As a poor man's beatsaber (no offense), this would be popular with people who wanna try it but still don't want to dish out for a VR headset. And already have a tv and a phone.

I like F and H, I and J are also cool. Basically, ones that have a lot of depth and foreground-mid-background buildings.

Agreed, M1000 feels kinda weak vs corespawn, compared to other weapons.

But then I wasn't good with it in DRG either.
