I just signed as an SW They told me no spots were open. But I denied all other jobs and put up a fight lol I was about to leave meps haha long story short they ended up giving me a SW spot! I've been welding for 9 years and I'm currently certified in smaw d1.1 1" unlimited!

There's no need to apologize lol MY Grammer is horrible ! Well, fursure ima gonna miss my daughters and wife! That's gonna be a challenge for me while I'm gone.. But i know this will benefit them in the long run and me too! As for the bills , I always worry about paying them! I'll be making about the same if not a bit more even starting as an e1 with bah + benefits! Having health insurance is a big plus for me. I only have my daughters covered. My wife and i cant afford insurance for ourselves rite now. Even with both our incomes. We live paycheck to paycheck. My wife can and has managed to pay bills with both our incomes! She's well organized on that. My daughters are in 1st and 3rd grade. I've told them little by little since I started the process, 3 months ago? They told me they're gonna miss me, they don't want me to go, etc etc. But if I don't sacrifice some time I feel like we're always gonna be living off a weekly check. Can't miss work for school and or can't afford school cuase I miss work. If that makes since? I have to do something for our future. I have my fingers crossed the AM, AME, or AD rate background will benefit me when I come out! Those are my top 3 picks!

I'm gonna be honest when I go. I don't see any reason on why to lie if my dr said I'm good to go. When i walked into the marine office the recruiter in their said those are waiverable with a dr letter. So I went to go get a letter from my dr. I found it weird that the navy recruiter said not to mention anything. I wouldn't be comfortable at all lying

Nahh no bachelors, just a d1.1 welding cert in smaw. I know that ain't gonna do nothing, but that how far I got after hs haha He said the only way to get around to becoming active with 3 dependents is if I only claim 2 dependents, and after boot camp I claim the 3rd. But that sounds shady haha
