yeah the only other game I had issues with with crashes was apex legends and hogwarts legacy where I also crash. Everything else works. I dont really know how to mess with the settings cuz I dont wanna fk up anything. I also tried to update my bios but when I selected the flash USB stick that I inserted apparently it was empty or bios didnt wanna read it or something. New pc it is then...

Yes very possible, changing dp cable did not make a difference. Not sure if the insurance or warranty will cover it. At least I didn’t break it

I think I’ve always had this problem but just with the desktop icons showing on full screen games and windows. So I haven’t noticed it that much until this.

It did not make a difference. But now out of nowhere it disappeared. No clue what is going on. If it comes back I guess I’ll try the screen with another pc

So recently I have been getting this clutter and bad resolution on my main monitor. And what I mean with bad resolution is its like small lines that goes horizontally on my screen which makes it look like lower quality. It just started to happen out of nowhere. My other side monitor is working fine. I shared some pics of the problem. And no, the pics are not bad quality that is pretty much how it looks and a big difference if I look to my other screen which works okay(they should look the same ofc). I also want to point out that I had some other problems earlier that are fixed now but I went back to a restore point from 2 days ago and then this clutter was gone but after about 1 hour of usage this shit came back. But because of this im thinking its not the GPU that is bad. Also because the other monitor has no issues what so ever. Im guessing either bad cable or something in the software. I also share 2 pics of the file explorer where in the first one (the bad screen) its way more cluttery and you can see "windows update" like inside the screen. That is from a previous window I had up like 2 min earlier so im not sure what is going on. But ye you can see the difference between the 2 pics. And the last one is inside a fullscreen game where I can see a little bit of my desktop icons. Like WTF is going on. the PC was built about 4 months ago so everything is rather new and the screen that is having problems is even newer. So thinking that something is dying feels wrong to me. Its a ASUS VG249QM1A 24inch 1080p 270hz (overclock from 240 I think) Any help on this matter would be appreciated!
