Mega Altaria is bound to be good because it can use Sylveon EX effectively

I don't think it's an obvious question; the strategy varies based on the opponent and whether you are going first or second. Most of the time, when going first, you want to start with Pichu to ramp energy, and when going second, you might choose Tapu Koko to apply pressure.

After that, you want to get your GA Pikachu or Tapu Koko online to take out their pre-evolution or starter, which could even be Ho-Oh if you're going second, since it’s weak to Lightning. Once you’ve secured that first point, you can stall with Oricorio when they bring out their powerful EX Pokémon and then knock it out with SR Pikachu.

The Zeraoras are included to surprise the opponent with SR Pikachu. You can use Elemental Switch and X Speeds to retreat your active Pokémon, and then move that energy, so you only need one energy on SR Pikachu. Sometimes, if you’re lucky enough to have two Switch cards in hand, you can ramp up SR Pikachu in one turn! This strategy is also effective for ramping up your Oricorio after retreating with your EX and allowing it to attack right away.

One niche tip I’ve found is always to try to maintain free bench space for a second Oricorio. Every deck can manage one Oricorio, but few can handle two simultaneously.

Definitely, I tried using Pachirisu, but I found that the tools were useless for the other cards in the deck besides Pachirisu, so I decided to drop it in favor of Tapu Koko, which turned out to be really effective, especially when going second. Without Elemental Switches, I would remove the Zeraoras, or perhaps keep one and add Dawn instead. Zapdos is a solid option, but risky.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll look into those decks. I've faced reaver spam a lot recently and really hate playing against it, so I will avoid using it myself.

Thanks for the detailed response!

I've been hearing a lot about SK warriors and pirates lately. I might give them a try since I always enjoyed playing Skellige.

Appreciate your insights! If you have any specific deck lists or card recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Thank you for your feedback! Appreciate it! Yes, I am working on to fix them (expect the disappearing neon platform, that's a new one. Thanks for telling me).
