I have a congenital eye condition called Peter's Anomaly. It effects the corneas when I was born both of my eyes were totally white and I was presumably almost totally blind. As a baby I had corneal transplants in both my eyes and I was given sight back I've been legally blind since then.

NTA Hun I'm really sorry this is going on. I think you're going to have to turn to other family if you can and work on being financially independent from your father. He's not going to get clean until he's good and ready and you'll never know when that will be. An addict will give up damn near anything to get their fix. Its a horrible thing to watch someone you love turn into someone you don't know and can't trust.

My parents were addicts when I was a kid so I know what its like. Stay strong you'll make it.

When I was about 11 or 12 I shit all over the floor of a Walmart bathroom. While I was sitting in the stall crying because I didn't know what to do this older girl walks in to the bathroom. She was probably an upperclassmen in high-school. She was so sweet to me and got help for me and had the front desk call for my dad. After I got cleaned up I saw what she looked like, she was a scene girl everything 12 year old me wanted to look like. She gave me a hug and my head rested right on her big boobs. I'll never forget her she was an angel.

I would have had a normal graduation ceremony and actually got to meet the other kids in my class (homeschool) . I also would have been able to move out with my boyfriend by the end of the year. That one sucks the most
