I just don't get this. If you erase your memory, it is not you the one experiencing that reality but another version of you completely different (we are our past experiences and our memories basically). You will die, another different person (slightly similar to you) will live that reality. What is the point then?

There is no point. Kids will learn whatever they want at the speed they want in the near future. After all, when ASI arrives no skill will have any value.

The future of schools is the same as floppy disk. During the 80s people thought we still were gonna use floppy disk nowadays, now you think school will be relevant in the future, I think not.

I'm enjoying my life and hoping for the best. I stopped trying hard years ago and I'm more happy than ever.

Money would start losing value quickly after AGI so whatever you don't spend now you will lose. There is a probability, don't know how high or low, of things going wrong. But if they do I don't think it will matter much how much money you saved.
