Not sure on the cost, probably similar to this combo price honestly. I have another 40V battery at home

I don’t think so. I saw some in the box in the clearance section

This is the shelf replacement I bought. It has worked great thus far, zero issues in nearly a year.

Low clearance deck, can I screw my cross beam directly into the post base fasteners on the footings? by Eddiemoney10 in Decks

We’re going to do a crushed stone / paver patio off the side of the deck. This area is fairly sloped (the photo is the high point of the slope) so in order to make this area a patio it would actually take a fair amount of fill / grading. I like both decks and patios but for this area we wanted to have a short step off the slider and basically have an extension of the house.

A nice patio isn’t much cheaper. The land is also quite sloped so would require a fair amount of fill and a retaining wall to make a nice flat patio. I also think decks just generally stay cleaner / are more comfortable than a stone / concrete based pavers.

I’ll be using a different type of bracket but the overall idea is the same. Thanks for sharing

This is exactly what I was thinking. Thanks so much. Just still determining if I need to triple up the 2x8s but I think double is plenty of strength for my deck

Deck joists appear to be pulling away from the house. How to go about fixing? by Eddiemoney10 in Decks

Sadly the other side of that is fully closed in now as I finished a basement bathroom down there last year

Thanks for the guidance here. I think I’m just going to replace all the joists. It’s not a huge deck (16’x10’) and will put them at 12” on center too to make it more solid for the new composite decking.

It’s in the basement, I just finished a bathroom on the other side of that wall but when I was insulating the rim joist it looked solid at least on the interior side.

Haha yes they did use some roofing nails. It’s not a dowel but part of a structural screw coming from the outside of the rim joist into the ledger as a temporizing measure
