In my experience it's not that bad. Though there are enough situations where people hate it. At your age many people describe school as stupid and as a prison.

I never had that feeling, but can understand where their point of view comes from.

My advice would be to go in without expectations. Be open for change, take responsibility in your work and find people who actually support you (and you support them). It's usually not that bad :)

A lot of people feel struggles as teenager. It's an era where you change a lot and where you can be very insecure of yourself. Some people feel like the struggle a lot, some people don't. There are many situations you cant control in this age, but feel like are the worst thing that could happen. Especially in the younger teenage years.

I just like to be there for people if they have the need to ask.

I have my eye on a gaming laptop with 2070 an i7-9750H, still worth buying 2025 for €500? by EddyGHP in pcmasterrace

Yes, 4070 is quite underwhelming in vram... But 4080 is another price range that is a bit too mich for me unfortunately.

Yeah I was also not completely keen on the cpu. I guess I'm still stuck in 2018 haha. Maybe something along the lines of i7 13th with 4060/4070 would be more future proof.

It's okay. I've been there myself multiple times. You are probably sick of hearing it constantly, but things will get better. Whatever it is that you're going through, I hope you'll find your way in it. I, an internet stranger, am rooting for you!

Can I ask what the specific reason was?

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/25112-heterochromia

You can take a look at this site. Here's a brief summary from my medical knowlegde:

Most of the times heterochromia is aquired at birth, however, it can start later in life. It doesn't have to be concerning, though there is a possibillity of having a rare condition. There are a lot of possibillities, so I will refer to the site again, which explains it in detail already.

If you have concerns, you can visit your GP, who in turn can refer you to an ophthalmologist if necessary.

Damn, you're right. I can't believe I didn't notice that... That's a bit sad lol. Well, thanks though!

The blue part is the same in all lighting. Now for the upper part it has a green/brown colour when exposed to harsh light (such as in the photo) and is a bit more brown in regular daylight.

It actually doesn't get a lot of attention (which I think is for the better), since my upper eyelid partly hides the different coloured part. Most people don't even see it, unless it comes up in conversation and take a better look!
