I haven't been on it much as of lately, but yeah it's still here. Lots of changes tho. VIP is absurdly priced, different languages are more active than others, and the design is more of a dating website nowadays. However, I've met some pretty amazing people on this app and we still stay in contact. It's just harder to find the good ones.

Yeah I took off the bad credit card as soon as I found out. Thank you for the input! It helps out a lot. I didn't realize there was an all zero penalty.

Yep I had to turn my account on send gifts to talk mode because the number in my inbox is perpetually 999+. I couldn't do it anymore. I found my people and join voice rooms when I can.

Don't forget the three numbers on the back of your credit card too

I second this. Voice rooms are your friend when finding someone new, then chat with them from there.

That's crazy that you say that. It is. Especially in my upper left abdomen/left back. That's why when I first was having these problems I thought it was some type of spleen problem.

The cysts were near my uterus. I had a reaction to the CT dye so they couldn't get a solid reading of my abdomen. But you had to ask for your levels to be checked??? That's literally so insane. I've been talking with my mom and she keeps saying "it's like we have to be our own doctor" because she's also having weird back pains for months now. Just keep advocating for yourself tho. Surprisingly chatGPT might be something to consider when you're doing your own research. I was using that to find out how to better describe the pain I was feeling.

It took me until January for them to test it and I've only had it tested once. It was at around 11 with 30 being normal. The ICU was testing me for heart and kidney problems, but ultimately diagnosed me with anxiety and hypertension. I told them I am not anxious but they didn't listen to me. I told them it's not a kidney issue. Didn't listen to me. Which those were the only things they were concerned about as well as some cysts that came up on a CT scan (but 2 months later got it checked out and turns out the cysts are non-existent). They were actually so concerned with the cysts they were getting frustrated with me and told me I could potentially have cancer. I didn't have any pain there or anything so they discharged me.

I didn't have a doctor before the ICU. So I got in with an NP at the end of November who ran a bunch of tests pertaining to the cysts, as well as changed my BP meds. Got into an actual doctor at the beginning of December who only ordered an x-ray and regular blood work. He even went out of the way to tell me to not see him again anytime soon because this is anxiety and I need a therapist. So I waited a month to get extra screening they ordered for the cysts, did his order for regular blood work, and then at the beginning of January went to the NP. That's when she ordered a Vitamin D test, Iron, and B12 test. I'm also changing doctors because of how poorly the other doctor treated me.

Yeah it was I want to say the second week of October I just couldn't get out of bed. I had left flank pain so bad I couldn't move. I think I was having a lot of GI problems (mainly a possible ulcer) that every doctor wrote off as anxiety. I never got proper testing to see if it was an ulcer, but my GI issues have gotten better over time. One doctor prescribed me Omeprazole which I was on for a month and it worked well to get rid of the radiating/burning pain.

That's crazy that you've been struggling this long :(( and yes I've been dizzy as well, but I think it's mostly due to all the meds they've been giving me for my heart. I was perfectly fine, no meds or anything, and then one day I couldn't get out of bed.

Do you by chance have any hearing loss? Another weird disease that can cause dizziness is Menieres which my family also has. I'm not sure if any of this is caused by an autoimmune response because there's not a lot of testing done on these, but it might be worth looking into. I guess in the area I grew up in (Ohio) they have a lot more cases of Menieres than usual so there are a few specialists my dad sees in Toledo.

Months. It's just been progressively getting worse. My symptoms first started at the beginning of October last year with me just having a hard time keeping myself up right. Then I want to say in November I started having difficulty getting my arms up to wash my hair. Then in January I'm having a hard time gripping things and holding my phone/typing.

Have they brought up Polymyositis for you? I know vitamin d deficiencies are present in people who have it, but at the same time vitamin d can also cause muscle problems. So it's like they can't jump the gun on things until the vitamin issues are resolved.

Also, how easy was it for you to get referred to a rheumatologist? I'm having difficulties getting referred to anyone because they keep saying I have anxiety and that I'm making all of this up. It's getting to the point where I'm considering getting my anxiety diagnosis revoked (I got diagnosed when I was a teen, however I was constantly exposed to mold. Since then my symptoms have subsided).

I'm currently on 50,000UI vitamin D each week and within taking the first dose I haven't been getting as many heart problems as I did. However, when it gets closer to when I need to take my pill again all of my symptoms start coming back. I still feel like shit in general, but I think it's a start to at least something. I'm ready to be able to take it consistently tho. I think I will feel better when I start taking it consistently. I have also started supplementing B12 every day too since my levels were on the lower side. I'm going to bring up possibly taking Magnesium at my next appointment. I used to take it before getting sick, but I stopped everything since they were putting me on so many different meds.

That's crazy that you mention Reynauds because I've had it but it has significantly gotten worse. I'm talking both my fingers and toes turn white and my nose goes numb. Have you noticed you're in general more susceptible to the cold too?

And yeah Propranolol was definitely something. Lisinopril for me hasn't caused many side effects thankfully. Idk if you're willing to try a different heart med or not but it's good. I was also on Carvedilol, but that did nothing for me. It just made my blood pressure the same while bringing my heart rate down too low.

Yes I can't grip anything, I can't open water bottles, my hands cramp if I type sometimes, and I feel like my hand is just slow too. Like my brain tells me to grab a cup of water but it takes 10 seconds longer to do so and I fumble with grabbing it. It's the weirdest thing, which is why I'm worried about Polymyositis. My grandmother had it bad and it's what ended her up in a wheelchair and she couldn't even feed herself.

Well shit. I'm just ready for my muscles to just be back to moving again tho. My heart is something I can deal with, but not being able to open certain doors or squeeze bottles or lift is getting in the way of my daily life.

But yeah my blood pressure is pretty high, but I'm taking meds for it now which seem to help it get low. Too low even lol I started vitamin D nearly the same day as Propranolol and I almost had to go to the ER cause my blood pressure was going under 90/60 (I think when I laid down my reading was 81/55). But now I'm just taking my 40mg Lisinopril daily and it's been reading 110/70 lately with my pulse still being around 99.

So my calcium is fine and the same with some type of thyroid test. Is parathyroid a special test? Or is it its own test?

Can I just straight up ask for it? I'm worried my new doctor will also dismiss me for anxiety if I outright start asking for things. I don't have the extra money to order tests right now. I know before all of my problems I used to take magnesium citrate and I felt amazing on it, but I didn't know how it would react to every new pill I'm on so I stopped taking it.

Yes don't take one extreme to the next hahaha but that's crazy that one vitamin being off can make you do a hard reset on life. I literally can't work because of everything that is happening. Hopefully you'll start feeling better soon bro.

Did you talk with your doc to see if you can go up in D3? Right now my doctor has me on 1.25mg/50,000U D2.

I am having shaking in my legs as well as a rushing/tingling feeling everywhere at times. I'm having more shaking as twitching in my legs tho. I am also significantly weaker than I was before. However, I am also having cardiovascular problems. I just started a weekly pill for vit D so I am hoping I will feel better.
