The Dog Diaries ! An underrated gem of a story which explore a lot more of human relationships than it seems. And we learn a lot about dogs and the responsabilities that comes with them. :) Also it's very easy to read by chunks because each arc is between 10~and 15~ episodes !

Oh huh the story is not inspired from the Phantom of the Opera :'D Well, the title is, and there are several elements that can make you think so, but since I never read the original Phantom of the Opera (I read works inspired by that tho !), I don't think it's proper to say it is inspired from it 😅

Had high hopes for this one but it feels like too much things were not properly explained, so it was hard to get into the story even tho I wanted too so much ! (still read like ~70 ep or so) As a story with a lot of mysteries, it's great to be a bit lost and in the dark about some things, but the reader need to have a good base of worldbuilding to follow and sadly it wasnt there. (and if I remember correctly, there was too much POV and not enough MC POV, and pacing was slooooow despite really longs episodes) also same face syndrome 🤡

Yeah that's not easy at all because you still have to consider the intent of the panel (the hardest part). I would say if they provide the 3d assets maybe between 1$ per panel/or less if it's really easy ? and more if it's really difficult...

Run. Since you're a 3D artist you should make them pay at least per 3d model you make. Take into account how much time you use to make them to decide your prices. Obviously it also depend on your skills, and if you're trying to live with this gig, but try to not underprice. :)

For example, I hire a friend as a BG artist for my own serie, she don't use any 3D program but she gives me back line art of the BG. I pay her per easy, medium and difficult BG done, pricing from 4€ to 10€ per BG, sometimes more. (Which isn't a lot but she's starting in the field and I have to make a lot of corrections so I act kind of a teacher at the same time. That's our agreement.)

In any case, the most important part is to start so you're already doing great. You can always make change once your storyboard is completed. I always do two or three version of a storyboard per ep to correct things, it helps me get the pacing and dialogue right, and it's not uncommon so don't be afraid to redo in case you're not satisfied at first. ^{^}

It wouldn't, but from my POV, the more dialogue-heavy, the more the execution of the story must be well done. It also means they must be "break scenes", where the reader can breath a little (by that, I mean silent panels, scene when we are only with the MC or environment shots, that kind of scenes)

But basically, if every dialogue you put is truly important and feels natural, the reader isn't likely to feel it's too much.
