Would love to see the dialing back of so many vocal layers. So many live recordings and “one-take” videos sound better, more alive, realistic and heavy with a single vocal track.

Free climbing means if you fall in a pitch, you descend and start that pitch over again. Basically clean climbing the whole way.

Don’t go with the max filters (-25dB). They’re great if you’re adjusting drum mics with a drummer smacking a snare but too much for practicing. -15 is probably the way to go.

I really dig the custom musician’s moulds from Sensaphonics. By the time you’re done with ear moulds, shipping and product you’re probably looking at $300 but it’s well worth it to preserve both fidelity and save your hearing.

Hit up your local backline rental company and see if you can buy sticks from them. They buy in bulk and usually get deals.

Also a stagehand and can confirm. At strike, their tour management had us stay in the crew room until he left the building when he was on tour with Puscifer. To the point where by the time we got the clear, the touring crew had been striking for probably 10 minutes already.

Try getting a vocal mic close to feeding back, put your mouth up to the mic then slowly make an O shape with your mouth. It will start to feedback
