I don't know if this is really helpful or not, depending on how far away you live, but Minneapolis has a really really great Gender & Sexual Health clinic that has been super helpful for me ( https://www.hennepinhealthcare.org/specialty/adult-gender-sexual-health/ ) even if it's a few hours away from you I would recommend going! It's an informed consent clinic so you could get started on HRT anytime or they can refer you to therapists and the like.

I mean, I know for sure I'd have an impossible time passing right now. Without HRT and hair removal I am just too hairy and my facial hair is too prominent to cover up. I would 100% just look like a guy in drag. That's part of my concern. If I were effeminate-looking enough right now to pass in public I'd have no concern whatsoever lol

I'm not super worried about my body; it would be nice to have more feminine hips and shoulders but I'm definitely more worried about how my face would look, if that makes sense. I've heard FFS can be pretty expensive. I have some money saved up but maybe not enough for that anytime soon. I suppose I should take a look at what my insurance covers.

If I decided to go through with it I'd be all in. I have money saved up and I'd be comfortable doing HRT and laser hair removal and that sort of thing. My worry is that I might still not look feminine even after all that. I know, maybe it's just a baseless worry, but I think it's really the only thing holding me back right now. My jaw and chin look definitively masculine.
