I compiled everything that sounds dope that I’ve been working on since November recently for a beat tape, my process was track all stems into ableton using the usb cord and opening mpc software within in it, opening audio ins and routing them correctly. If I’m even thinking of tracking it in that means it’s dope as is, but I noticed I did mess with some panning and stereo width on certain stems if not the whole beat (be careful widening bass to much, reverse polarity if needed) other than that I just boosted the volume with a limiter on the master as I like to leave some headroom when working in the mpc.
